The journeyman reliever was picked up by the Angels in late July following his release by the Orioles. With Tuesday marking the first day of rosters expanding, Wright's minor league contract was selected by the Angels, thus adding him to the 40-man roster. He could be useful left-hander in a primarily right-handed bullpen.
