Green produced 14.8 points, 4.0 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.2 three-pointers in 24 minutes per game during the Las Vegas Summer League.

Green made 54 percent of his shots and half of his three-point attempts in five games. He struggled mightily during his rookie season, converting a paltry 30 percent of his three-point tries in 43 contests. His contract for the upcoming season is unguaranteed, and the Nuggets have 16 players currently under contract, one more than permissible.

Green recorded 3.4 points (38% FG, 30% 3Pt, 83% FT), 0.7 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.3 steals in 10 minutes per game during 43 regular season games in 2014-15.

The 24-year-old rookie has plenty to improve heading into his sophomore season, and he'll likely receive plenty of action for the Nuggets' Summer League squad come July. Green is on the payroll for $0.8 million in 2015-16.

Green will start in Monday's game against the Clippers.

The Nuggets are resting some of their normal starters so Green is in line to see an abnormal amount of minutes Monday.

Green scored 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with three assists and one steal in 25 minutes Saturday.

Green played extra minutes with Ty Lawson (forearm) out and Jameer Nelson (hip) leaving after 13 minutes. Lawson seems likely to return Wednesday, so Green will probably not see run like this again, but if Nelson and Lawson aren't healthy, Green will share ball-handling duties with Randy Foye and becomes a sneaky add.

Green (hip) logged a single minute in Monday's loss to the Thunder, going 0-for-1 from the field.

Green hasn't had the opportunity to play this season, averaging just 6.8 minutes per game. He's locked on the bench behind Ty Lawson, Arron Afflalo, and Randy Foye, and should be left in the wire in most leagues.

Green (hip) is considered questionable to play Monday against Oklahoma City, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

Green has played sparingly off the bench this season and hasn't seen double-digit minutes since late-December. From a fantasy perspective, his absence Monday wouldn't be overly significant.

Green was recalled by the Nuggets on Sunday, the Denver Post reports.

Green isn't expected to see significant time on the court with the Nuggets as he's only seen action in eight games this season. In fact, his next stint in the D-League is likely just around the corner.

Green has been assigned to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the D-League.

Green has appeared in 14 games for the Nuggets this season, averaging 3.3 points in 7.3 minutes per game. He'll join the Mad Ants for a few days of practice before playing in Friday's game against Rio Grande Valley. The Virginia Tech product was a big-time scorer in college but is yet to carve out a niche in the NBA.

Green scored 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and he added one rebound and three assists in 18 minutes of work against the Heat on Wednesday.

Only one starter for the Nuggets played 30 minutes, so the bench was heavily used in this one. As a result Green received 18 minutes of the bench and he managed to score 11 points in his short stint.

Green has yet to be featured off the bench during Denver's first four games of the season.

Green spent last season playing in Italy but he's still not at the point where he can contribute to an NBA rotation. He is currently listed behind the likes of Ty Lawson, Randy Foye, and Nate Robinson on the depth chart and it's unlikely that he'll be able to jump anyone unless the injury bug infiltrates Denver.

Erick Green's deal with the Denver Nuggets will be for three years, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Green played overseas last season and had a stellar Vegas Summer League for the Nuggets where he averaged 16.6 points, 3.0 boards, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals. Despite his Summer League success, it will be tough for Green to crack the back court rotation in Denver next season.

He was outstanding in Vegas with an effective field goal percentage of 55.1, averaging 16.6 points, 3.0 boards, 2.6 dimes, 1.2 steals and 1.4 triples. Green and backcourt mate Gary Harris complemented each other very well in Vegas, but both will have a tough time getting significant minutes. Green is likely going to be up and down in the D-League this season, but he has a chance to be the No. 3 point guard on the depth chart.

Green was a dynamic scorer at Virginia Tech, leading the nation with 25.0 points per game while winning ACC Player of the Year honors. But he measured in at just 6'3/178 at the Combine, got slapped with a tweener label and slipped to No. 46 overall. The Nuggets, who have a full roster of contracts, will let Green develop overseas.
