Thomas had five catches on eight targets for 55 yards Sunday against the Raiders.
The Broncos' offense continues to struggle, with quarterback Peyton Manning failing to throw a touchdown pass Sunday. Emmanuel Sanders led the way by catching nine passes on 12 targets for 111 yards, which helped contribute to Thomas' muted output. Nevertheless, Thomas still has tremendous upside each week, and he'll look to break out next Sunday against the Browns before a Week 7 bye.

Thomas (neck) practiced fully both Thursday and Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Thomas, who is coming off back-to-back nine-catch efforts looks like a strong play Sunday while going up against a Raiders' defense that is giving up an average of 310.5 passing yards per game to date. Only the Giants (316.2) are allowing more.

Thomas (neck) was limited at Wednesday's practice.
Thomas returned to Sunday's game against the Vikings in the second half after sustaining a neck injury, so his limitations Wednesday aren't especially concerning, given that the wideout hasn't had any reported setback since completing Sunday's game with nine catches for 93 yards.

Thomas (neck) returned to Sunday's game against the Vikings in the second half, finishing with nine catches for 93 yards on 12 targets.
Thomas briefly left for the locker room during the second half, but he was deemed probable to return shortly thereafter. He caught a pass immediately upon rejoining the game, and he finished his afternoon on pace for a 132-1,444-4 receiving line this season. The Broncos travel to Oakland in Week 3 to face arguably the NFL's weakest group of cornerbacks.

Thomas (neck) has been upgraded to probable to return to Sunday's game against the Vikings.
It remains to be seen if Thomas actually gets back into Sunday's game, but that he is probable to return to the contest suggests that his neck issue is not considered serious.

Thomas is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Vikings after suffering a neck injury.
Prior to his exit from Sunday's game, Thomas had recorded a team-high eight catches for 78 yards.

Thomas caught nine passes for 92 yards and a touchdown on a team-high 13 targets in Sunday's 24-12 win over the Lions
Thomas made a couple of spectacular plays, including a 45-yard touchdown, but he also had a couple of ugly drops. It was a nice microcosm of what he offers throughout the course of the season, and the Broncos aren't complaining. The only cause for concern is that he's been dependent on sky-high volume (38 targets), with the Denver passing game less efficient than in past years. If the team ever adds a running game to its excellent defense, Thomas might have to settle for 9-10 targets per game instead of 12-13.

Thomas caught eight passes for 116 yards on 14 targets in Thursday's 31-24 win over the Chiefs.
Thomas was having a mediocre night until he dominated the game-tying drive, making three difficult catches for 54 yards to set up a 19-yard touchdown to Emmanuel Sanders. The Denver passing game looked like its old dominant self on a couple of drives, but the overall picture was still far from rosy, with Peyton Manning, C.J. Anderson and the offensive line looking shaky for a second straight week. Thomas and Sanders are obviously better off if the rest of the offense shapes up, but Denver's early struggles have at least led to increased reliance on the star wide receivers, with volume thus far (mostly) making up for middling efficiency.

Thomas (hand) is active for Thursday's game in Kansas City
Thomas was a full participant throughout the week of practice, so his availability was never really in question. He'll face a tough Kansas City defense, but the Chiefs do appear vulnerable at cornerback, especially with top corner Sean Smith still suspended.

Thomas (hand) participated fully in Wednesday's practice and is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Chiefs.
As is QB Peyton Manning, with the duo in line to take aim Thursday at a Kansas City defense that allowed 298 passing yards and a pair of TD receptions to Houston's top wideout DeAndre Hopkins in Week 1's 27-20 win over the Texans.

Thomas (hand) participated fully in Monday's "jog-through" practice, the Broncos' official site reports.
Playing with a sore hand in Week 1 versus the Ravens, Thomas still hauled in seven balls (on 11 targets) for 60 yards. While he was scheduled for X-rays after the contest, head coach Gary Kubiak deemed Thomas "fine" in the aftermath. As a result, Thomas should have no trouble taking the field Thursday in Kansas City.

Troy Renck of the Denver Post indicates that Thomas (hand) is "fine," according to coach Gary Kubiak.
While that's promising, Thomas' status will still be worth tracking in advance of Thursday night's game against the Chiefs. Despite his hand issue, Thomas caught seven passes on 11 targets for 60 yards in Sunday's season-opening win over the Ravens.
Sun Sep 13 201520:41Demaryius Thomas: Likely To Get X-Rays On Hand
Thomas will likely get X-rays on his hand,Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports.
Thomas caught seven passes (11 targets) for 60 yards in Sunday's 19-13 win over the Ravens, and he didn't appear to miss any significant time in the game. He'll only have four days to recover for Thursday's game in Kansas City, but he should be able to play unless the X-rays come back positive.

Thomas had three catches (five targets) for 30 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the 49ers.
Both of the targets Thomas didn't catch came in the end zone, with Peyton Manning misfiring both times, including once for an ugly interception. The Denver offense has looked shaky this preseason, but there's little question that Thomas will get his share of targets, and Manning should be fine once the season begins. The offensive line, though still a concern, should benefit greatly from the recent addition of G Evan Mathis.
Wed Jul 15 201515:44Demaryius Thomas: Agrees To 5-Year, $70 Million Deal
Thomas agreed to a five-year, $70 million contract with the Broncos on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Dez Bryant got most of the headlines, but Thomas and the Broncos took things even closer to Wednesday's 4 PM ET deadline before reaching an agreement. The two wideouts both signed 5-year, $70 million deals, though Bryant's reportedly contains $45 million guaranteed, whereas Thomas' contains $43.5 million. Coming off three straight seasons with 92+ receptions, 1,400+ yards and 10+ touchdowns, Thomas shouldn't suffer too much from the Broncos' more run-oriented offense, as there's also less competition for targets than in past years.

Thomas, who has yet to sign his franchise tender, is not expected to show up for a mandatory minicamp that starts Wednesday, the Denver Post reports.
Thomas cannot be fined for missing the minicamp because he hasn't signed the one-year, $12.82 million tender. He and the Broncos have until July 15 to reach a long-term extension, or else Thomas will have to play under the one-year franchise tag. The most likely outcome has the two sides reaching an agreement by that date, but either way, Thomas figures to suit up for the Broncos in Week 1. Although the team is expected to run the ball more often this season, Thomas should still see plenty of targets, as Julius Thomas and Wes Welker are no longer with the Broncos.

Thomas said Monday that he will not attend the Broncos' offseason workouts, nor quarterback Peyton Manning's training sessions with the other wideouts at Duke University, ESPN.com reports.
The Broncos used the franchise tag on Thomas, which will guarantee him $12.823 million this season, though he has yet to sign the contract. He continues to want a long-term contract, and while he said his agent is working on it with the team, there doesn't seem to be much movement. Thomas has been one of the best fantasy wideouts over the last few years and is likely looking to become the, or at least one of, the highest paid receivers in the league. Because of the likely huge contract they will have to give him, the Broncos were unable to bring back tight end Julius Thomas, who signed a five-year, $46 million, with $24 million guaranteed, with the Jaguars.
Mon Mar 2 201510:40Demaryius Thomas: To Be Tagged
Thomas will receive the franchise tag from the Broncos on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Thomas is projected to make nearly $13 million for the 2015 season as part of the tag. The move will likely allow tight end Julius Thomas to test the free agent market, but will keep the Broncos' top wideout under team control for another season. Thomas snagged 111 passes for 1,619 yards, both career-highs, and added 11 receiving touchdowns in 2014.
Thu Feb 19 201516:19Demaryius Thomas: Broncos Will Use Tag, If Necessary
Broncos general manager John Elway said Thursday that the team will use its franchise tag on Thomas, if the two sides are unable reach a long-term agreement before the March 2 deadline for the tag, USA Today's Lindsay Jones reports.
Elway confirmed what was already known, as its nearly unthinkable that the Broncos would allow Thomas to get away. Of course, hammering out an agreement could still take some time, and Thomas may not want to participate in team activities without a multi-year contract.

The Broncos are expected to use the franchise tag on Thomas if they are unable to reach an agreement on a long-term contract, NFL.com reports.
The Broncos are also trying to lock down tight end Julius Thomas, with the expectation that he is closer to a deal than the wideout. Demaryius Thomas has been one of the best fantasy wide receivers over the last few years, averaging 99 catches on 155.7 targets for 1,494 yards and 11.7 touchdowns per season over the last three. He also set career-highs in receptions (111), targets (184) and receiving yards (1,619) last season, giving the Broncos little reason to let him walk. If they do end up using the franchise tag, Thomas will make roughly $13 million next season.
