Decker missed last week's game due to the knee injury, but he was back at it Sunday, making a number of nice grabs en route to his third game with a touchdown this season. He and Brandon Marshall (seven catches on 11 targets for 128 yards) continue to be excellent weapons for quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Decker will get an extra week to recover as the Jets are off in Week 5 before taking on Washington in Week 6.

Of course, if there is any doubt on that front on Sunday, the Jets could elect to play it safe with the wideout, with the team's bye looming in Week 5.

That said, Decker's Week 4 playing status has yet to be solidified, though we'd expect him to be listed as no better than questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in London.

Jets head coach Todd Bowles was non-committal when asked about Decker's (knee) availability for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in London, ESPN.com.

A non-committal response from a coach doesn't normally mean much, but Bowles did say that he expects running back Chris Ivory (quad) to return, which contrasted with his comments regarding Decker. It sounds like Decker is headed for another questionable designation.

"If I'm not feeling like I'm going to go out there and be productive, or be able to play 60-plus snaps, I don't want to take someone's spot who can be productive on a game day roster," Decker noted Thursday "I want to be smart because it's a long season." Through the Jets' first two games, Decker has recorded 10 catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

An absence would likely place more of the onus on Brandon Marshall to carry the passing game, but Jeremy Kerley and Quincy Enunwa could experience a brief spike in their respective workloads.

Th injury is a tough break for the Jets, as Decker was doing great work as the complement to Brandon Marshall, catching eight of his 11 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown before departing. If Decker's forced to miss time beyond the remainder of Monday's game, Quincy Enunwa and the now-healthy Devin Smith would be candidates to pick up extra looks.

Eric Decker caught two passes for 37 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Browns.

Decker's TD came on a skinny post while the Jets were in their two-minute offense at the end of the first half. He only saw three targets in the game, placing him fourth on the team. However,the Jets controlled the contest throughout the second half, so they didn't need to throw the ball very often, which likely had quite a bit to do with his lack of targets.

Decker will see time as both an outside receiver as well as in the slot this season, the New York Daily News reports.

Decker was utilized this way in the preseason as well, and it should help him to get favorable matchups on many occasions throughout the season. With new offensive coordinator Chan Gailey expected to spread out opposing defenses with multiple-receiver sets, Decker will especially benefit in the red zone, where he has been effective throughout his career.
