LaFell (foot) was spotted on the field working out with a few teammates prior to Sunday's game against the Cowboys, the Boston Herald reports.
Of course, LaFell remains on the Patriots' PUP list, but the report notes that the wideout can play as soon as Week 7, with ESPN's Mike Reiss relaying Sunday that LaFell's recovery is reportedly on schedule.
Sat Sep 5 201517:16Brandon LaFell: (Foot) Placed On PUP List
LaFell (foot) has been placed on the regular-season PUP list, ESPN's Field Yates reports.
With LaFell now ineligible for the first six games and Reggie Wayne no longer on the team, the Patriots may need significant contributions from the likes of Aaron Dobson and Jalen Saunders. It'll be a major surprise if the team doesn't add another wideout before the start of the season, and they may even explore trading for a veteran, in addition to combing through other teams' cuts. The Patriots, as one would expect, haven't provided any kind of timetable for LaFell's potential return.
Tue Sep 1 201510:35LaFell (foot) did not practice Monday
LaFell (foot) did not practice Monday, ESPN Mike's Mike Reiss reports.
LaFell remains on the Patriots' preseason PUP list, and in a a 53-man roster projection posted Monday on Patriots.com, the possibility that the veteran wideout could open the coming season on the team's PUP list was offered up. Meanwhile, the Patriots traded for WR/return specialist Jalen Saunders on Tuesday, and while he is far from the same type of player that LaFell is, in doing the roster math, it looks like the team would need to make some sort of move (such as putting LaFell on regular-season PUP) in order for Saunders to secure a spot.

LaFell (foot) is not on track to play in Friday's preseason game against the Panthers, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
Meanwhile, Reiss' latest 53-man roster projection offers up the possibility that LaFell could potentially open the coming season on the Patriots' PUP list, though at this stage, such a notion remains speculative. Still, given LaFell's continued absence from practice, his status for Week 1 is far from solidified, one way or the other. For however long he is sidelined, Danny Amendola, Reggie Wayne and Aaron Dobson are candidates to see added looks in the Patriots' offense opposite Julian Edelman (assuming his health).
Tue Aug 25 201517:08LaFell (foot) remains sidelined
LaFell (foot) remains sidelined, as of Tuesday's practice, WEEI.com reports.
Meanwhile, fellow wideouts Julian Edelman and Aaron Dobson were present for the start of Tuesday's session. While there has been nothing reported in a concrete fashion to suggest that LaFell's Week 1 availability is in danger, on the flip side, a timetable for his return to practice has not been outlined, making his situation worth tracking in advance of the Patriots' season opener. In any case, with other injuries at wideout (Brandon Gibson and Brian Tyms) in play, the Patriots added veteran Reggie Wayne on Monday. Aside from adding valuable depth and experience to the team's wideout corps, it's fair to wonder if Wayne's addition may in fact be tied to possible concerns with regard to LaFell's progress.
Sat Aug 22 201519:30LaFell (foot) won't suit up Saturday in New Orleans
LaFell (foot) won't suit up Saturday in New Orleans, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports.
As expected, LaFell's foot concern will delay his first action of the preseason. With LaFell, Julian Edelman (undisclosed), Aaron Dobson (hamstring), and Brian Tyms (foot) out of commission, Danny Amendola and Josh Boyce are the top healthy WR options Saturday.

LaFell (foot) is not on track to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Saints, ESPN.com reports.
While LaFell continues to bounce back from a foot issue, thus far there has been no indication that his regular-season availability is in any danger. Also expected to sit out Saturday's game are fellow wideouts Julian Edelman, Aaron Dobson and Brian Tyms.
Tue Aug 18 201512:08LaFell (foot) remains on Patriots' PUP list
LaFell (foot) remains on the Patriots' PUP list, csnne.com reports.
Unless LaFell returns to practice in short order, we suspect that he will sit out Saturday's preseason game against the Saints. While a timetable for his return to practice has not been outlined by the Patriots, to date there has been no indication that LaFell's regular season availability is in any danger.

LaFell (foot) is not in line to play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Packers, NESN.com reports.
At this stage, LaFell remains on the Patriots' PUP list and it's unclear when he might be activated by the team. So far there has been nothing to suggest that the veteran wideout's regular season availability is in danger, however. We'll let you know if that assessment changes.

LaFell (foot) was among eight Patriots players placed on the team's Active/Physically Unable to Perform list in advance of training camp, csnne.com reports.
As is the case with all players on the team's NFI or preseason PUP list, LaFell counts against the Patriots' 90-man active roster and can begin practicing at any time. At this stage there is nothing to suggest that the wideout's absence will be an extended one, but it appears as though the team is exercising caution with LaFell, who sported a walking boot on his left foot (which he has since shed) earlier this offseason.
Wed Jul 8 201515:31Brandon LaFell: (Foot) Ditches Walking Boot
LaFell has ditched the walking boot on his left foot, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports. In an interview with Sirius XM NFL Radio, LaFell stated, "I'm out of the boot now and I'm just looking forward to starting camp."
LaFell tended to shoulder and toe injuries in the latter part of last season, which extended through the Patriots' Super Bowl run. The toe concern seemingly spurred use of the boot, and he even missed offseason workouts as a result. Now that the boot has been removed, he can focus on developing further chemistry with Tom Brady in the passing attack. While Brady's status remains up in the air due to a looming decision on his four-game suspension, LaFell will look to build upon his first campaign in New England in which he hauled in 74 balls (on 119 targets) for 953 yards and seven touchdowns.
Sun Jun 14 201520:16Brandon LaFell: Wearing Boot On Left Foot
LaFell has been wearing a boot on his left foot, Boston Globe writer Shalise Manza Young reports.
The Patriots haven't provided any details, but LaFell was listed on the injury report with shoulder and toe issues during the team's playoff run, and it's possible this is related to the latter. Although there's been no indication the issue is serious, LaFell's training camp participation will be worth keeping an eye on.

LaFell (toe) caught 4-of-7 targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-24 Super Bowl win over the Seahawks.
LaFell finished fifth on the team in receptions and receiving yards, but he did kick off the game's scoring on a slant route. His first season in New England resulted in new career-high marks in every major receiving category, even though he didn't catch a pass until Week 3. Signed through 2016, LaFell figures to be back with a New England team that will likely have a similar receiving corps in 2015.
Sun Feb 1 201516:41LaFell (toe) active for Sunday's Super Bowl against Seahawks
LaFell (toe) is active for Sunday's Super Bowl against the Seahawks.
LaFell finished 2014 second on the team in both yards (953) and receiving touchdowns (7), and will undoubtedly play a major role in helping quarterback Tom Brady attempt to find space in Seattle's acclaimed pass defense.
Wed Jan 28 201521:41LaFell (toe) not listed on Wednesday's injury report
LaFell (toe) was not listed on Wednesday's injury report.
LaFell's absence suggests his toe is improving, as the wideout should be all but a lock to play in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

LaFell (toe) is listed as questionable for next Sunday's Super Bowl against Seattle, Boston Globe writer Shalise Manza Young reports.
Despite being listed as questionable, LaFell will almost certainly play in the Super Bowl. He's been playing through his toe issue for over a month now, and he was able to make limited practice appearances all through this week.

LaFell (shoulder/toe) was one of six Patriots' players listed as a limited practice participant Thursday, the team's official site reports.
LaFell has been an injury report regular of late, but the last time he missed a game was back in 2012 and in the absence of any setbacks, he's in no danger of missing the Super Bowl. Look for the wideout to be listed as probable for the contest when the Patriots' final injury report of the season is released next week.

LaFell (shoulder/toe) was on the field for 70-of-78 snaps on offense in Sunday's AFC Championship Game, ESPN.com reports.
In the process, LaFell caught four passes for 28 yards in the Patriots' 45-7 win over the Colts, a game featuring a heavy dose of power back LeGarrette Blount. LaFell is in line to continue to see plenty of snaps in Super Bowl XLIX, which could well result in more targets than the six he saw in Sunday's blowout win.

LaFell (shoulder/toe) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Colts.
LaFell is good to go for Sunday's AFC Championship game and in line to see his share of looks in the Patriots' offense in the contest, along with fellow starting wideout Julian Edelman, and Danny Amendola, to a lesser degree.

LaFell (shoulder/toe) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Colts, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reports.
LaFell is good to to for Sunday's AFC Championship Game, a contest that the Patriots will approach in reasonably good health, with the exception of center Bryan Stork, who has been ruled out by the team this week.
