Taylor agreed to a deal with Spain's Real Madrid early last week, Sportando reports.

Updating a previous report: Taylor will not sign with Maccabi Tel Aviv, basketball reporter David Pick reports.
Taylor had previously been reported as finalizing a contract to play with them in Israel next season, but that's apparently not the case anymore. He'll now look for an NBA gig, although, even if he ends up finding a team to take a flier on him, he'll likely struggle to get any meaningful minutes.
Sun Jul 19 201513:38Taylor finalizing deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel
Taylor is finalizing a deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel, basketball reporter David Pick reports.
The deal is supposedly for two years, but it still hasn't been reported whether or not the deal will contain an NBA opt-out clause. Taylor entered the league in 2012 and spent his first three seasons with the Hornets, but hasn't really established himself as much of a rotational presence. During the 2014-15 season, he played in just 29 games and finished with averages of 4.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.4 steals over 15 minutes per game.
Tue Jun 30 201512:56Taylor will not receive qualifying offer from Hornets
Taylor will not receive a qualifying offer from the Hornets, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Taylor has been unable to find his niche in three years with the Hornets after the team selected him 31st overall in 2012. The Vanderbilt product was billed as a knockdown three-point shooter coming out of college, but he's shot just 31.9 percent from beyond the arc in his career. In 2014-15, he notched career-lows in scoring (4.4 points per game), rebounds (1.8), steals (0.4) and minutes (14.8). He'll enter the summer as an unrestricted free agent, meaning the Hornets will not have the option to match any offer he may receive from another franchise.

Taylor started the season with a 24-game suspension following a domestic incident and then played in the D-League for a short stint before even officially joining the Hornets. At season's end, Taylor had played in just 29 games and finished with averages of 4.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 15 minutes.
In this third NBA season with Charlotte, Taylor continued to be unable to become a reliable piece of the team's rotation, and while his 24-game suspension did not help, he still was not able to get much done while he was on the court. Taylor's most playing time came in the final month of season, where he averaged nearly 25 minutes per game, as he got an increase in minutes with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist out with an ankle injury. In that time, however, Taylor only managed averages of 6.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists. The Hornets do have a qualifying offer of nearly $1.2 million that they can extend to Taylor, otherwise the small forward will be looking for work this offseason

Taylor started again for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (ankle) and scored 10 points (3-7 FG, 4-5 FT) in 25 minutes in the blowout loss to the Pistons on Sunday.
Taylor has played at least 18 minutes in the last nine games, but has not scored more than 10 points. He has only scored in double digits twice in this abbreviated season.

Taylor scored four points to go along with six rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 25 minutes as a starter against the Hawks on Friday.
Taylor has seen increased time on the court with a plethora of normal rotation players injured in Charlotte. It's still unclear if these players will rejoin the team before the season ends, leaving Taylor's value hanging in the balance.

Taylor is starting at small forward Saturday against the Hawks with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (ankle) out.
In the two other starts Taylor has been given this season, he averaged 9.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 0.5 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 1.5 three-pointers in 27 minutes per game. Those numbers aren't good enough to use in daily games or standard leagues, so he's best left in the scrap heap for most leagues.

Taylor scored six points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), to go with two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 22 minutes on Sunday.
Taylor started in place of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, but didn't really do anything in this game to warrant him worth owning outside of the deepest leagues. MKG is expected to be out for beyond the All-Star break so there is some short-term value for daily games depending on the matchup.
Sun Feb 8 201516:33Jeff Taylor: Will Start Sunday
Taylor will start in Sunday's game against the Pacers.
Taylor will start in place of the injured Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (hamstring) on Sunday. Kidd-Gilchrist is not expected to play until after the All-Star break, so Taylor may be in store for added value beyond Sunday's game.
Sat Jan 10 201508:22Jeff Taylor: Will Be Available Saturday
Taylor will be available for the Hornets' game against the Knicks on Saturday after getting recalled from the D-League on Friday.
Taylor played three games for the Austin Spurs and averaged 11.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists during 26.2 minutes per game. He has seen action in three games for Charlotte previously this season but averaged just six minutes per game. He could certainly work his way into the rotation at some point in the future, although he'll likely see limited minutes for the time being.

Taylor will play three more games in the D-League before rejoining the Hornets, CSN Northeast's A. Sherrod Blakely reports.
This means that Taylor could return to the Hornets following the Austin Spurs' game Friday, potentially being available for Charlotte's game in New York this Saturday. Taylor will likely start as a reserve seeing limited minutes, but could eventually play his way into a prominent role in the Hornets' rotation. With that in mind, he should be added to watch lists, and not actual rosters in most fantasy formats.
Sun Dec 28 201416:45Taylor reassigned to Austin Spurs of NBA D-League on Sunday
Taylor was reassigned to the Austin Spurs of the NBA D-League on Sunday.
Taylor is still a player that the Hornets have faith in, but he simply wasn't going to get the minutes necessary for progressing his development at the NBA level. The third-year player could eventually return to the Hornets this season, but he'd need a major roster shake-up in order to be given the minutes necessary to become fantasy-relevant.

Taylor (suspension) made his season debut Saturday and has been used for limited action in the Hornets' last two games.
Taylor has not seen the floor much in the last year. After going through a lengthy rehab coming back from Achilles injury last season, he was suspended 24 games this season stemming from a personal legal issue in September. As he continues to get back in the swing of things, his minutes will likely increase. Through his first two games, Taylor has played spot minutes off the bench, and it appears he's only going to see action in blowouts for the foreseeable future.

Taylor's 24-game suspension expired with Monday's game against the Cavaliers, but the guard isn't likely to join the active roster immediately, the Charlotte Observer reports.
Coach Steve Clifford offered a couple reasons for the decision, first citing Taylor's nearly year-long absence from the NBA after tearing his Achilles in December of 2013. His only activity with the team has been a few summer workouts, as well as limited practice sessions, as Taylor has not been allowed to travel with the Hornets during the suspension. Charlotte also has plenty of depth on the wing, and Clifford indicated Taylor would need to prove he's ahead of another player on the depth chart before he considers using him as one of the 13 active roster spots.
Fri Nov 21 201413:26Jeff Taylor: Will Not Appeal Suspension
Taylor will not appeal his 24-game suspension, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Taylor was suspended 24-games for a domestic incident by commissioner Adam Silver on Wednesday. The NBA's player union was ready to take up the appeal but it now appears that Taylor will accept the punishment without contention. This suspension will ultimately leave him on the sidelines for the rest of the calendar year into the first week of January.
Wed Nov 19 201417:15Taylor suspended for 24 games by NBA commissioner Adam Silver
Taylor was suspended for 24 games by NBA commissioner Adam Silver, Ken Berger of CBSSports reports.
Taylor has already missed 11 games this season, so he'll be back after 13 more games. Taylor was previously given 18 months probation October 30 for domestic abuse. This is in addition to Taylor's injury concerns, which make him a bench player with very worrisome problems attached.
Thu Oct 30 201419:43Taylor has plead guilty to domestic violence charges
Taylor has plead guilty to domestic violence charges, the Charlotte Observer reports.
At this point it is very unclear what this confession means for Taylor's playing career. The charges carry a maximum of 93 days in jail, however Taylor has entered a plea deal and the details of that deal are not yet known. Additionally, Taylor may face a suspension from the NBA even after he is cleared to play legally.

Taylor had his pretrial hearing moved to October 29th, USA TODAY Sports reports.
Taylor was arrested back in September for malicious destruction of a building and domestic assault of his girlfriend. He has pleaded not guilty but could face up to a year in jail if charged. Taylor is still barred from team activities in the mean time.

Taylor was arrested for a second time Thursday for malicious destruction of a building, Lauren Evans of WILX TV reports.
Taylor was arrested earlier in the day on the same charge along with a domestic assault charge. More information on the situation will likely be revealed in the coming days.
