Miller will play in Germany next season for Brose Baskets, Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders reports.

Miller spent most of the last three seasons in New Orleans but saw his tenure with the Pelicans end in November of last year once he was waived by the team. His move to Europe renders him insignificant for fantasy purposes, although he was already teetering on that edge during his limited playing time stateside.

The Clippers opted not to sign Miller to a 10-day contract, the Los Angeles Times reports.

After being released by the Pelicans last month, Miller returned home to Kentucky to work out privately. That may not have been his wisest decision, as the Clippers decided during Tuesday's workout that Miller was not in sufficient game shape. "If he had come in great [shape], we probably still would have waited just to try to get him in basketball shape," coach Doc Rivers said. "I'm sure that's what he's going to do." While the Clippers moved on and signed veteran Dahntay Jones to a 10-day deal Wednesday, Rivers left door open, stating that the Clippers may consider signing Miller later in the season.

He was waived by the Pelicans back in November, but will offer depth to the Clippers' main weak spot -- the wing. Matt Barnes should continue to start, but Miller figures to be just as likely as Chris Douglas-Roberts or Reggie Bullock to see minutes off the bench at the three.

The Pelicans opted to waive both Miller and Patric Young on Sunday, freeing up a pair of roster spots. Miller appeared in only five games on the season, averaging 8.6 minutes in those contests. The 2012 second-rounder is a solid shooter and defender and should draw mild interest around the league as a free agent.

Miller received a DNP Friday against the Hawks a game after starting in place of the injured Eric Gordon.

Miller was shut out in his start against the Kings, missing all three of the shots he attempted. Instead, Austin Rivers started Friday but he missed all eight of his attempts. The Pelicans certainly have a conundrum at shooting guard now with Gordon out. Tyreke Evans slid over to small forward Friday to let Rivers start, but after his terrible night, Evans could move back over to guard and Miller could see some playing time once again.

Miller earned the start in place of Eric Gordon, but was shut out of the box score with the exception of three missed shots and three personal fouls.

Miller played only 14 minutes, with Luke Babbitt, John Salmons and Jimmer Fredette joining the rotation as well. However, that trio combined to shoot just 2-for-7, failing to do much to impress. Austin Rivers, who scored eight points and added three rebounds, stands to gain the most with Gordon sidelined.

Miller will likely move into the starting lineup Tuesday against the Kings, Nakia Hogan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

With Eric Gordon (shoulder) slated to miss a good chunk of time, Miller is the top candidate to move into the starting five at small forward, as Tyreke Evans shifts to shooting guard. The Kentucky product has played sparingly this season, appearing in four games and playing double-digit minutes in only one of those contests.

Miller was home with family for the past week following the birth of his daughter, who was born Thursday. Miller will likely be available for Wednesday's game, though he isn't much of a fantasy contributor, having played just four total minutes this season.

Miller is starting his second consecutive preseason game at small forward Monday in Atlanta, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

With Tyreke Evans recovering from a right hamstring strain, Miller is getting the nod at small forward in order to gain more experience with the starting five. In Saturday's exhibition opener, Miller managed eight points (4-12 FG, 0-5 3Pt) and three boards in 32 minutes.

Miller is competing with Luke Babbitt and John Salmons for minutes at small forward this season. Of the three, both Miller and Babbitt are primarily known for their outside shooting ability. While Miller started Saturday, he struggled from the field, especially from three-point range. Conversely, Babbitt finished with 15 points on five made three-pointers.

Miller is in competition to start at small forward this season, John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

The third-year Kentucky product started seven of the 45 games in which he played last season and will compete with John Salmons and Luke Babbitt throughout the preseason for the starting nod. At 6-8, 225, Miller has excellent size, but he's fairly inexperienced and is not a great passer or rebounder. This competition will be something to keep an eye on throughout the month of October, though it's quite possible all three players will share the workload when the regular season rolls around.

The terms of the contract are not disclosed, but it's likely a short-term deal. Miller actually played some point guard for the Pelicans while they were devastated by injuries in March, which may have helped him get a contract. He'll likely start the season out of the rotation.

Miller has been well-worth starting over the last week with averages of 12.0 points, 1.3 treys, 3.5 assists and 2.3 steals while hitting 45 percent of his shots in his last four contests. There is no body of work for owners to hang their hats on, and Austin Rivers' early ejections helped create some touches, but Miller is worth fantasy consideration in all formats for Wednesday.

The Pelicans have to play Tyreke Evans at shooting guard and Al-Farouq Aminu at power forward, so the minutes at small forward are Miller's for the taking. Still, his two previous starts were not good ones, averaging 4.5 points, 1.0 boards and 1.5 triples. He's only a desperation play right now.

He played some point guard tonight and said after the game that it was the first time he's done so since kindergarten. While it's a cool story to see him succeed tonight, Miller will likely fade into the background again this weekend with the Pelicans likely to get some players back.

He shot 4-of-5 from the field and this was his second consecutive game in which he's played 19 minutes. The Pelicans have been using Miller at small forward while sliding Al-Farouq Aminu over to the four, but his fantasy value is going to be very low even with the team in dire straits for offensive options.
