Hamilton agreed to a deal with Russia's Krasny Oktyabr on Saturday, Sportando reports.

Hamilton was waived by the Clippers on August 1st and cleared waivers. He shuttled between the D-League and NBA over the past four seasons and earned D-Leauge All-Star recognition last year. He's off the radar for the upcoming season, but Hamilton could return toward the end of the year or resurface during summer league.

His contract for the upcoming season isn't guaranteed, and even if Hamilton survives training camp, he'll be stuck behind Paul Pierce, Wesley Johnson, and Josh Smith in the rotation.

Hamilton averaged 2.7 points (40% FG, 48% 3Pt, 0% FT), 1.1 rebounds, 0.5 assists, and 0.1 steals in nine minutes per game during 14 regular season games in 2014-15.

After signing a couple of 10-day contracts with the Clippers, the team opted to keep him for the remainder of the season. However, his $1.0 million deal for 2015-16 is not guaranteed, so it's possible he'll be searching for a new home this summer.

He'll join a Jazz team in need of help on the wing, and Hamilton will have a chance to compete with rookie Rodney Hood for playing time behind entrenched starter Gordon Hayward. The 6-7 Hamilton is an excellent spot-up shooter but struggles closer to the basket, as he's a career 40.6 percent shooter from the field.
