Singleton played with the Magic's White squad in the Orlando Summer League. He averaged 8.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 1.6 steals in 24 minutes per game through five games.
Singleton spent most of the 2014-15 season with the Thunder's D-League affiliate. He averaged 8.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.8 blocks, and 1.3 steals in 23 minutes per game through 19 games in the D-League. As of now, it is unlikely that Singleton will be given an invite to the Magic's training camp.
Wed Jun 10 201512:55Singleton will play with Magic during Orlando Pro Summer League ...
Singleton will play with the Magic during the Orlando Pro Summer League in early July, David Pick of Basketball Insiders reports.
Singleton spent most of the 2014-15 season in the D-League for the Thunder's affiliate after beginning the season in the Chinese Basketball Association. The Magic are contractually committed to 11 active players and a first-round draft pick next season, offering the slimmest of chances Singleton could finagle his way to the team's training camp.
Fri Sep 5 201411:37Singleton has signed with Pacers
Singleton has signed with the Pacers, The Washington Post reports.
The small forward has spent his previous three seasons with the Wizards, averaging 17.6 minutes and 4.1 points over that span. Those totals dropped last year as it appeared evident the Wizards were gearing up to part ways with the Florida State product. Despite this drop off, Singleton could find a significant amount of playing time with the Pacers this season after the leg injury to Paul George.
Mon Jul 21 201411:51Chris Singleton getting some interest
Chris Singleton has received some interest from the Heat and Pacers.
These two teams lost some notable free agents on the wings and are just looking for depth here. Singleton hasn't really improved in the past three seasons and would just be an end-of-the-bench guy at best.

Thu Feb 27 201423:50Chris Singleton steps up for the Wizards
Chris Singleton scored 13 points in 25 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday with nine boards, two assists, one steal and three fouls.
He's played in just 15 games this season with an average of 10.9 minutes per night. The Wizards didn't pick up Singleton's option heading into the season, so they're not really going to be too interested in developing the 2014 free agent. Chances are his minutes will go back down once Kevin Seraphin (knee) is healthy.

Sat Dec 7 201300:47Singleton starts for Webster at the half
Chris Singleton started the second half of Friday's game for injured Martell Webster (ankle), scoring seven points on 1-of-10 shooting with eight rebounds, two assists, three steals and a three in 33 minutes.
Singleton has flashed the ability to post versatile lines in the past, but more often than not there will be a glaring issue or two similar to his 1-of-10 mark from the field. It's hard to get behind him in standard leagues even as a short-term pickup, but Webster's injury looks like it's at least somewhat serious and there might be a window for some deep league value here.

Tue Nov 26 201322:10Chris Singleton makes season debut
Chris Singleton (foot) played one minute in his season debut during Tuesday's 116-111 victory over the Lakers.
The Wizards didn't pick up their team option on him last month and Singleton hasn't lived up to being a first-round pick. He was viewed as a great defender, but there has been no growth on the offensive side. He can be ignored in fantasy leagues.

Tue Nov 26 201317:31Chris Singleton (foot) may return on Tuesday
Chris Singleton (foot) may be available for "spot" minutes vs. the Lakers on Tuesday.
Martell Webster will be occupied starting at SG in place of Bradley Beal (leg), which leaves more minutes available at SF, and Singleton's return is bad news for the limited roles of Jan Vesely and Trevor Booker.

Mon Nov 25 201312:55Chris Singleton (foot) returns to practice
Chris Singleton (foot) participated in Monday's practice, but his status for Tuesday's game is uncertain.
He has yet to play this season and his status will likely hinge upon how his foot responds to today's activity. Once healthy, he'll battle for minutes at both forward spots off the bench.

Wed Sep 18 201313:34Singleton out 6-8 weeks w/ fractured foot
Chris Singleton will miss 6-8 weeks after surgery to repair a fractured metatarsal in his left foot.
Singleton suffered a Jones fracture, an injury which typically requires "screw fixation ... and the use of a bone stimulator," according to podiatrist Michael K. Lowe. Singleton's absence until late Oct. or mid-Nov. means more playing time for Trevor Ariza and Otto Porter at SF. Even at full health, his limited minutes and shaky shooting make him a dubious fantasy option.

Sun Jul 21 201311:02Chris Singleton still working to fix his shot
Chris Singleton said he needs to "break the habit" of leaning back when he shoots, which results in minimal arc.
Singleton has good size and strength at 6'9", 230 lbs, but his broken jumper (37.6 percent FGs) has prevented him from truly carving out a niche with the Wizards. Nothing he did during Summer League suggests he'll make a big leap in 2013-14.

Sat Jun 29 201322:02Wizards expect strides for Vesely, Singleton
The Wizards are hopeful that Jan Vesely and Chris Singleton will show offensive improvement during Summer League in July.
Nene's flagging health may limit his playing time next season, shifting more of a burden onto guys like Singleton, Vesely, Kevin Seraphin and Trevor Booker. The Wizards optimism aside, fantasy owners shouldn't expect much more scoring from Vesely (2.5 ppg last year) or Singleton (4.1 ppg), both of who should go undrafted in standard leagues.

Thu Mar 28 201300:18Chris Singleton plays 41 minutes in loss
Chris Singleton started on Wednesday, but hit just 3-of-12 shots and a 3-pointer for eight points and five rebounds on Wednesday.
The minutes were there with both Martell Webster (abdomen) and Trevor Ariza (flu) out, but Singleton is only worth a close look if those two continue to miss games. Cartier Martin had 12 points and two threes off the bench, and is in the same boat.

Mon Mar 25 201322:34Chris Singleton plays 43 minutes vs. Memphis
Chris Singleton played 43 minutes against the Grizzlies on Monday, scoring 10 points with seven boards, three assists and two blocks.
He got the start with the Wizards becoming very shorthanded with Trevor Ariza (flu) and Martell Webster both out. Ariza shouldn't be out too much longer, so there's really no reason to pick up Singleton in most formats.

Sun Mar 24 201301:31Chris Singleton shoots 1-of-10 in return
Chris Singleton played 21 minutes in his return to the Wizards rotation, grabbing six rebounds with two assists and one steal.
The bad news is that he scored only four points on 1-of-10 shooting, a rather predictable stat for a career 37.8 percent shooter. He plays with great energy and is a valuable rebounder and defender, but his brutal offense prohibits fantasy value.

Mon Mar 18 201318:39Singleton (personal) available to play Monday
Chris Singleton (personal) will be available for the Wizards on Monday.
Singleton missed Saturday's game due to a family matter, but he has rejoined the team and may actually crack the rotation if Trevor Ariza (knee) isn't able to suit up.

Sat Mar 16 201317:48Chris Singleton will not play on Saturday
Chris Singleton (personal) will not play against the Suns on Saturday.
He has a family matter and it's unclear how much time he could miss. Singleton didn't play in the previous two games and he isn't on the radar in even the deepest of leagues right now.

Tue Dec 4 201222:01Chris Singleton scores nine in start for Wiz
Chris Singleton started over Kevin Seraphin against the Heat on Tuesday and had nine points, nine rebounds and a block on 2-of-7 shooting in 35 minutes of the unlikely win.
Singleton was presumably started for matchup reasons against the Heat and played well. Seraphin wasn't too shabby off the bench with 16 points, 10 rebounds and a block in 31 minutes, and is clearly still the power forward to own in Washington. But with small forward Trevor Ariza going down tonight with a calf injury, Singleton could still be in line for decent minutes going forward.

Mon Dec 3 201208:56Chris Singleton could get start on Tuesday
Chris Singleton could get the start at power forward on Tuesday against the Heat.
The move would be designed in order for the Wizards to better match up with the Heat, who are expected to start Rashard Lewis at power forward again in the place of Shane Battier (knee). Singleton made some noise when he put up 13 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks on November 24, but he hasn't scored in double-digits or eclipsed 24 minutes of playing time since.

Sat Nov 24 201223:22Chris Singleton double-doubles in 33 minutes
Chris Singleton had his first double-double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds, adding four steals in 33 minutes against the Bobcats on Saturday.
The Wizards had some interesting lineups tonight and Martell Webster also got some extra burn with 35 minutes that led to 21 points, four rebounds, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers. Randy Wittman is likely on thin ice, so just keep an eye on these guys.
