Xavier Silas (face) had successful surgery last week to repair "several sinus fractures." |
Silas was injured during a summer league game where he took an elbow from a teammate and also suffered a concussion as well. He had facial surgery to repair the issue and it's not yet known how long he'll be forced to sit on the sidelines. |

Sixers signed G Xavier Silas for the remainder of the regular season. |
Silas impressed the Sixers' brass with a strong training camp, but there just wasn't enough room for him on the roster. He'll likely see minutes over the final two games with the team now resting/tanking ahead of the playoffs. |
