Brown caught three passes (on six targets) for 45 yards in Monday night's win over the Chargers.

Brown was kept pretty quiet by the Chargers' defense Monday night, when the Steelers' passing game did very little until the fourth quarter. In fact, 39 of Brown's 45 total receiving yards came on one play, evidencing his limited contributions elsewhere. While Brown did tie for Pittsburgh's team-lead in targets, Monday marked the second straight game he's been held to fewer than 50 receiving yards. It's clear that Brown's production has been capped with quarterback Michael Vick filling in for Ben Roethlisberger, but he'll still aim to break his mini-slump in Week 6 against the Cardinals.

Brown caught five passes for 42 yards on nine targets in Thursday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Ravens.

The Steelers ran a very conservative offense with Mike Vick under center, and the veteran quarterback didn't make any kind of case for the team to open things up next week in San Diego. Of course, Brown still should have managed a decent stat line, but he dropped what would have been a 36-yard touchdown pass on one of Vick's few nice throws. Although it was a difficult, sliding catch, a player of Brown's caliber makes that play at least three-quarters of the time. It's usually unwise to make too much of any single game, but it's pretty clear (if it wasn't already) that Brown's value needs a significant adjustment for the drop-off from Ben Roethlisberger to Vick. With a weak San Diego run defense on the Week 5 schedule, the Steelers figure to lean heavily on Le'Veon Bell, hoping to minimize Vick's impact.

Brown had 11 catches on 13 targets for 108 yards Sunday against the Rams.

Brown continues to be the most consistent receiver in football, though things could change after quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was knocked out of the game because of a knee injury, leaving Michael Vick under center. There are concerns that Roethlisberger could miss a number of weeks due to the ailment, and Vick's chemistry with Brown will be a huge factor in how well the Steelers play in Roethlisberger's absence. Up next is a quick turnaround to face the Ravens on Thursday.

Brown caught nine of his 11 targets for 195 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the 49ers, and also added a catch for a two-point conversion.

The NFL's leading receiver from last season has picked up right where he left off, having accumulated 328 receiving yards through two weeks. Brown is an absolute beast in every format, and has been well worth the first-round pick most owners had to invest to land him this year.

The score came in the final seconds of the game, capping what was already a strong effort by Brown. He enters Pittsburgh's Week 2 matchup against San Francisco having caught at least five passes for 50 yards in 33 straight games.

Brown had his contract restructured Tuesday, turning $2 million from 2016 into a signing bonus, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.

Brown is now set to make $8 million this year, as the Steelers continue their efforts to clear any cap space they can. Heath Miller and Shaun Suisham also restructured their contracts, adding up to nearly $6 million in cleared cap space for a team that's dealing with plenty of injuries and offseason issues. With the No. 1 fantasy receiver in Brown, combined with running back Le'Veon Bell, the Steelers' offense could be quite a force this season.

Brown caught 4-of-4 targets for 24 yards Sunday against Green Bay.

The Steelers limited Brown's playing time with good reason, taking no chances with their number one receiver. An offensive pass interference call against Brown negated his 58-yard touchdown reception, but it appears he and Ben Roethlisberger are in sync, picking up where they left off last season.

Brown caught his only target for a six-yard gain in Friday's preseason game against the Jaguars.

Coming off one of the best seasons by a wide receiver in NFL history, Brown has enjoyed a healthy training camp and offseason. Markus Wheaton and Martavis Bryant are both candidates to see more looks this year, but Brown is still a safe bet to rank among the league leaders in targets per game.

Brown is unlikely to play in Sunday's preseason opener, Bob Labriola of Steelers Digest reports.

The Steelers are expected to hold some veterans and key players out as a precaution, as well as to provide an opportunity for young players to gain more reps.

Brown was among the Steelers present for Monday's offseason workout.

Previous reports suggested that Brown might be looking to re-work his deal with the Steelers -- which has three years remaining on it -- but his presence at the team's current voluntary workouts indicates that at this stage, things are trending away from any sort of contentious holdout. On the heels of a 2014 season in in which he led the NFL with 129 receptions and 1,698 yards, Brown approaches the upcoming campaign as one of the elite fantasy options at his position.

Per the report, Brown, who has three more seasons left on his current six-year, $43 million deal with the team, will not attend the Steelers' voluntary conditioning program and may consider holding out of the team's mandatory minicamp in June and/or training camp. While it's too early for this situation to impact fantasy draft boards, it's nonetheless worth monitoring in the coming months, with Brown coming off a 2014 season in which he led the NFL with 129 receptions and 1,698 yards.

Brown put up big numbers just as he did all season, and he just missed adding a long touchdown on a 44-yard reception that ended up inches short of the goal line. Brown will be at or near the top of draft boards in all formats next season after leading NFL receivers in receptions and receiving yards in 2014 -- and finishing tied for second in receiving touchdowns to boot.

Brown uncharacteristically failed to haul in a couple of catchable passes, but he more than made up for it with a pair of fantastic plays. His 71-yard punt return provided the first points of the night, while his 63-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter clinched a victory for the Steelers. Brown's 129 receptions represent the second-best single-season total in NFL history, and his 1,698 receiving yards are good for sixth on the all-time list. In addition to leading the league in both of those categories, Brown tied for second in touchdown receptions, finishing with 13. While he's always a crucial part of the Pittsburgh gameplan, Brown may be more important than ever for a first-round playoff matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, as there's some chance that star running back Le'Veon Bell (hyperextended knee) won't be able to play. Of course, Bell's absence would allow the Ravens to pay more attention to Brown, and it would also make it significantly harder for the Steelers to pile up points. Last time the rivals met, Ben Roethlisberger completed 25-of-37 passes for 340 yards and six touchdowns, with Brown producing 11 catches for 144 yards and a score. The Baltimore secondary has made progress since that game, but it's still a vulnerable group.

The 72 yards were his lowest total of the season, but he still managed to score his fourth touchdown in the last five games. Brown now has 1,570 yards on the season, tops in the NFL, and he'll look to increase his lead in Week 17 against the Bengals, with the winner taking home the AFC North title.

Brown had 10 catches on 10 targets for 123 yards during Sunday's win over the Falcons.

Unable to score for the second consecutive game, Brown continues to pile up the yardage, posting his sixth game with at least 100 yards this season. He's had double-digit targets in all but two games this year and will likely be heavily-used again in Week 16 against the Chiefs, though it should be noted that Kansas City allows the second-fewest passing yards per game this season.

Brown led the team in targets and receptions, but quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's three touchdowns went to Martavius Bryant, Le'Veon Bell and Heath Miller. Brown has posted at least 90 receiving yards or scored a touchdown in all but two games this season and he remains a top-tier fantasy wideout. He now has 105 receptions and 1,375 receiving yards this season, both of which lead the NFL, and he'll have a great opportunity to add to his totals in Week 15 against a Falcons defense allowing the most passing yards per game in the league.

Brown had eight catches on 12 targets for 97 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Saints.

Brown struggled for most of the contest, but he caught his first touchdown with 2:34 left in the game to make it 35-24 and then scored the ultimate garbage-time touchdown, a three-yard pass from Ben Roethlisberger to make it 35-32 as time expired. The two scores now give him six in his last five games, though he may be hard-pressed to continue the streak in Week 14 against Cincinnati, as the Bengals have allowed the fewest receiving touchdowns in the league this season.

Brown caught 9-of-11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 27-24 win over the Titans.

Brown picked up a number of key first downs, and he caught the game-winning touchdown from 12 yards out with just over nine minutes remaining. He also broke free for a potential 17-yard touchdown in the final minute of the first half, only to watch Ben Roethlisberger badly underthrow the ball for an interception. While Roethlisberger's body language hinted at a miscommunication, the location of the ball would have been odd for any route. Whatever may have happened on that one play, Brown mostly played yet another excellent game, after falling short of 80 receiving yards for the first time this season in last week's contest. He heads into Pittsburgh's bye week as the NFL leader in both receptions (88) and receiving yards (1,161), with eight touchdowns in 11 games to boot.

Brown had eight catches for 74 yards in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.

Once again Brown's nine targets lead all Steelers' wide receivers. The fact that he was able to turn in a decent stat line on a day that the Steelers' passing attack was stymied is a testament to his skills and his status as Ben Roethlisberger's top target. Brown has been remarkably consistent this year (never below 80 receiving yards until Sunday), so it would not be at all surprising to see him back over 100 yards against a soft Titans secondary next week.

Brown caught 11-of-16 targets for 144 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 43-23 win over the Ravens.

Held to a 7-90-0 receiving line in the first matchup between these teams back in Week 2, Brown feasted on Baltimore's secondary the second time around, with Ravens CB Jimmy Smith (foot) unable to play. Smith's presence (or lack thereof) may not have mattered, as both Brown and Roethlisberger have been in top form over the last two weeks. Brown especially impressed on his 54-yard-touchdown, turning an intermediate pass into a long gain with a stiff arm, cut and high-step sequence that left a trio of Baltimore defensive backs in the dust. Brown's consistency was well established last season, and this year the big games have become more frequent. Through nine weeks, he already has three performances of 10 or more catches, five of 100 or more receiving yards, and three with multiple touchdowns. And, even with Martavis Bryant taking on a larger role, Brown has drawn 42 targets over the last three games. He's on pace for a top-five all-time season in both receptions and receiving yards, heading into a Week 10 road outing against the Jets' punching bag of a secondary.
