(AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard MarShon Brooks to a multi-year deal after adding him to the roster on a 10-day contract last month.Brooks originally signed a 10-day deal with the Grizzlies on March 27, and he averaged 23.3 points with 3.7 assists coming off the bench in three games. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard scored 70 points, the most by any player in franchise history over his first three games. He also became only the second Grizzlies player to average at least 20 points a game in his first three games.The 25th overall pick in 2011 by the Nets out of Providence, Brooks has started 49 of his 167 games in the NBA. He has been with the Lakers, Celtics and Warriors.

Brooks has signed with Jiangsu of the China Basketball Assocation, Shams Charania reports.

Brooks spent last season overseas as well, playing for Emporio Armani Milan of Italy. There's a chance the 26-year-old could play in the NBA once his season is done in the CBA, but he has yet to make a major impact at the professional level.

Brooks signed a one-year contract with Emporio Armani Milan of Italy on Friday, the Euroleague's official site reports.

Brooks played three years in the NBA but will spend next season overseas. He split last season between the Celtics, Warriors, and Lakers. Brooks played for the Kings' summer league team this July, averaging 10.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.3 steals in 15 minutes per game through seven contests. At 25 years old, Brooks could return to the NBA sometime in the future.

The Kings advanced to the Las Vegas Summer League finals with a win vs. the Wizards on Sunday, led by MarShon Brooks' 14 points and five rebounds off the bench.

Brooks scored with ease and finished 5-of-7 from the field in just 16 minutes, but in true Summer League fashion he also committed four turnovers and five personal fouls. Sacramento led 39-10 at one point in the first half and cruised to the victory with nine different players scoring at least four points. They'll face the Rockets for the Summer League championship.

MarShon Brooks scored 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting in the Kings' 100-86 win over the Timberwolves on Thursday.

Brooks is hoping to earn his way on to an NBA roster with a strong Summer League performance, and he may if he continues to perform the way he did against Minnesota. He only added four rebounds to the rest of his stat line, so he will need to shoot the ball well if he hopes to make a team.

The Kings are reportedly interested in adding MarShon Brooks to their Summer League roster.

Brooks hasn't agreed to join the team and may not end up with the Kings next season even if he does play for them in Las Vegas, but at least he's drawing some interest. The 25-year-old SG struggled last season, playing in a combined 35 games for the Celtics, Warriors and Lakers. It would take a perfect situation and a bit of luck for Brooks to emerge as a fantasy contributor in 2014-15.

Brooks has been terrible on the court and anybody that added him for the five-game week can move along.

MarShon Brooks hit just 1-of-9 shots on Monday, finishing with eight points, seven boards and two steals in 25 minutes off the bench.

Brooks was a popular plug-and-play in deeper leagues with five games on the slate this week. He hit 6-of-6 shots from the foul line and when his other looks fall then this type of usage profiles as a profit this week.

MarShon Brooks scored 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting (including three treys) with two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 26 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Kings.

This game had no defense so it's hard to get behind these results in full, but Brooks has been mildly productive lately and he's worth a look for the chance the explosions outweigh the inevitable duds.

MarShon Brooks played 27 minutes and hit 4-of-10 shots and two 3-pointers for 11 points, two rebounds, four assists and a block in Tuesday's loss.

We're not sure why Mike D'Antoni is so bent on getting Brooks heavy minutes, but it is happening right now. He's still not a guy we'd recommend targeting, but he is worth keeping a close eye on over the next week.
