Thu Jul 25 201309:57Charles Jenkins will play overseas next year
Charles Jenkins agreed to play for Red Star of Belgrade in the Serbian league next season.
Some fantasy owners may remember Jenkins' fantastic finish in his rookie season while Stephen Curry missed time in 2012, averaging 16.5 points and 8.5 assists in the last four games of the season, but he fell off and the Sixers did not send him a qualifying offer earlier this month. The 24-year-old guard may be stuck overseas for a while.

Mon Jul 1 201301:0676ers decline option, Charles Jenkins now UFA
The 76ers did not extend a qualifying offer to Charles Jenkins, making him an unrestricted FA.
The 23-year-old Jenkins has already drawn interest from Maccabi Tel Aviv, but he wants to gauge his value in the NBA before agreeing to play overseas. He averaged 2.5 points per game in 12 appearances with the Sixers last season.

Sun Jun 16 201320:56Maccabi Tel Aviv eyeing Charles Jenkins
Maccabi Tel Aviv reportedly has interest in former 76ers guard Charles Jenkins.
Jenkins wants to test the NBA market before looking overseas, however, so Maccabi's interest is likely to remain unresolved for at least a few more weeks. He played 59 games with the Warriors and 76ers last season, but never scored more than eight points in a game.

Fri Mar 8 201318:54Charles Jenkins draws start for Sixers
Charles Jenkins will start Friday's game against the Heat at shooting guard.
Jenkins is a better player than Royal Ivey and has a brighter future. He'll guard Mario Chalmers while point guard Jrue Holiday deals with Dwyane Wade. We'd still look to sixth man Dorell Wright if scraping for a fantasy play here. Nick Young (ankle) is out.

Sun Feb 24 201301:51Charles Jenkins active but picks up DNP-CD
Charles Jenkins was active for the 76ers on Saturday but he did not leave the bench.
Jenkins was acquired for nothing more than a second-round pick, a trade that hardly anyone noticed outside of Philly, but it's reasonable to think he'll eventually steal 10-15 minutes from reserve guards Royal Ivey and Jeremy Pargo. Avoid them all if you are able.

Thu Feb 21 201316:11Warriors trade Charles Jenkins to 76ers
The Warriors traded seldom-used PG Charles Jenkins to the 76ers on Thursday.
Jenkins lacks 3-point range and won't have fantasy relevance while Jrue Holiday is healthy, but it's a nice cheap pickup for the 76ers (they gave up a second-round pick). He's only playing six minutes per game this season, but in 2011-12 he started 28 games for the Warriors, averaging 8.6 points, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 25 minutes per game.

Charles Jenkins (calf) returned to action on Friday, playing four minutes with two rebounds and a block.
Jenkins is buried on the depth chart and has no fantasy value.

Thu Jan 10 201316:43Charles Jenkins (calf) limited on Thursday
Charles Jenkins (left calf) was limited during Thursday's practice.
Golden State's backup PG is averaging six minutes per game this year, and he's not a fantasy asset as long as Steph Curry and Jarrett Jack are healthy.

Tue Jul 31 201213:37Charles Jenkins' deal to be guaranteed Aug. 1
The contract for Charles Jenkins will become guaranteed on August 1.
GM Bob Myers said that Jenkins "almost certainly" will not be waived and he is "part of the team's future," so we expect him to stick around. Jenkins averaged 5.8 points and 3.3 assists during his rookie season, but averaged 8.6 points, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 28 starts down the stretch of last year.

Wed Apr 25 201201:43Charles Jenkins double-doubles in loss
Charles Jenkins hit just 4-of-16 shots but still managed to finish with 10 points, five rebounds and 10 assists as the Warriors (barely) lost to the Hornets on Tuesday.
The Warriors need to lose out in hopes of keeping their bottom-7 protected draft pick (traded to Utah), and a late goal tending call helped bail them out tonight. They currently sit in eighth place, and are likely headed toward a coin flip with the loser of the Raptors vs. Nets game on Thursday. In any case, as it appears that Nate Robinson's season is over, Jenkins should see plenty of minutes against the Spurs on Thursday. Luckily, the Warriors play San Antonio in the finale, or they might accidentally win one. Then again, Gregg Popovich might enjoy torturing them and tank even harder than the Warriors will.

Sun Apr 22 201221:21Charles Jenkins scores 24 points vs. Wolves
Charles Jenkins gave the Warriors some cause for optimism on Sunday, scoring 24 points with six rebounds and nine assists in a road win vs. the Wolves.
Jenkins made 11-of-19 FGs and played every second of the game for Golden State. He has been a very nice surprise down the stretch, as first Stephen Curry (ankle) and then Nate Robinson (hamstring) went down with injuries.

Sat Apr 21 201222:46Charles Jenkins shows signs of life vs. HOU
With Nate Robinson nursing a sore hamstring, Charles Jenkins scored 16 points, grabbed five rebounds and handed out eight assists on Saturday.
Jenkins made just 5-of-13 FGs and turned the ball over five times, but we'll happily take this line after watching him scored single-digit points in eight of the past nine games.

Fri Apr 20 201223:56Jenkins double-doubles against Mavericks
Charles Jenkins recorded a double-double on Friday night, scoring 10 points on 5-of-15 shooting while dishing out 10 assists as the Warriors fell to the Mavericks.
With Nate Robinson (hamstring) sidelined, Jenkins received 37 minutes of run and didn't disappoint. He also chipped in three steals, and will have plenty of value the rest of the way as long as Robinson is out.

Thu Apr 19 201202:03Jenkins plays well in Robinson's absence
Charles Jenkins had six points, 11 assists and a steal in 32 minutes on Wednesday.
Nate Robinson was held out due to a hamstring injury, so Jenkins got extra minutes tonight. If Robinson remains out, Jenkins will probably be worth owning if you need a point guard, so watch for updates on Lil Nate going forward.

Tue Apr 17 201205:37Jenkins misses all eight shots in blowout
Charles Jenkins missed all eight of his shot attempts in Monday's blowout loss, finishing with two points, two rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 23 minutes.
Jenkins has hit rock bottom while Nate Robinson scored a season-high 30 points tonight. Jenkins could conceivably have a nice game down the road as the starter, but planning for that to happen is not advisable.

Fri Apr 13 201201:20Jenkins posts low-end line in start at PG
Charles Jenkins scored eight points on 3-of-6 shooting (no threes) with five rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 24 minutes on Thursday against the Mavs.
Jenkins has been pretty brutal lately and tonight marks a step forward. He's not completely going away, but he still needs to show more to be considered a must-own player in 12-team formats. For now, he's just a desperation play at the PG position.

Thu Apr 12 201202:01Charles Jenkins quiet again despite start
Charles Jenkins started again on Wednesday, but had just five points and two assists in 19 minutes.
Nate Robinson went off for 19 points and eight dimes in 29 minutes, hitting 9-of-15 shots. Jenkins may be the starter, but Robinson is clearly outplaying him right now, and appears to be a much safer fantasy option.

Tue Apr 10 201204:10Jenkins scores six points with five assists
Charles Jenkins scored six points on 3-of-7 shooting with one rebound, five assists, two steals, and one block over 29 minutes in Monday's blowout loss.
Jenkins is still an early late-round producer over the past two weeks, but has hit a rough patch over the last few games. He and Nate Robinson will trade off good games, and right now that's been more Nate than Charles.

Sun Apr 8 201202:00Jenkins, Robinson still locked in time-share
Charles Jenkins started on Saturday and had two points and eight assists in 23 minutes, while Nate Robinson posted 14 points and seven assists in 25 minutes off the bench.
This has all the signs of an entrenched minute-share. Nate has a bit more upside but could fade in the rotation as the Warriors focus more and more on developing their young players -- avoid them both, if possible.

Sat Apr 7 201203:56Jenkins scores eight points with seven asts
Charles Jenkins scored eight points on 4-of-9 shooting with one rebound, seven assists, and one steal in 25 minutes on Friday against the Jazz.
Jenkins was allowed to roll into a third first-quarter foul tonight, which is a new wrinkle of Mark Jackson's coaching acumen gracing us with its presence lately. He seems to have the starting job on lockdown and both he and Nate Robinson (six points, four assists) are worth owning in 12-team formats, despite the slow results.
