Manning completed 41 of 54 passes for 441 yards (8.2 YPA), three touchdowns and an interception.

More impressively, Manning led the team on a game-winning drive largely without Odell Beckham, who re-entered for two plays at the end, and entirely without No. 2 WR Rueben Randle who also hurt his hamstring. Manning connected to Dwayne Harris, tight-end Larry Donnell and running back Shane Vereen, among others, in crunch time for the win. Going forward, Beckham's and Randle's statuses are unknown, and Victor Cruz isn't expected back for a while, so Manning's value could take a hit next week against the Eagles.

Manning completed 20-of-35 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns Sunday against the Bills. He also threw an interception and fumbled once, though the Giants recovered.

Beckham has unsurprisingly been Manning's only reliable target so far, but Victor Cruz (calf) may be ready for Week 4 in Buffalo.

Manning was 27-of-40 for 292 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's game against the Falcons. He added 23 yards on two carries and lost a fumble in the 24-20 loss.

The 34-year-old bounced back Sunday after a less-than-stellar season debut, despite the fact that Odell Beckham was the only wideout to top 17 yards receiving. Manning utilized running back Shane Vereen to the tune of eight completions for 76 yards, and will likely continue to do so until another receiver steps up. Manning and the Giants will face the Redskins at home in Week 3.

Manning completed 20 of 36 passes for 193 yards in Sunday's 27-26 loss to the Cowboys.

Manning didn't have any turnovers, but he did make a costly mistake inside of the two-minute warning when he threw the ball out of the end zone instead of taking a sack to keep the clock moving. The Giants struggled to pass the ball for most of the night, but they did have success with their running game in the fourth quarter, after using defensive takeaways to build a lead. Despite the unusual Week 1 results, the Giants will likely still be very reliant on Manning and the passing game this season. Week 2 brings a favorable matchup with the Falcons at MetLife Stadium.

Manning and the Giants have agreed to a contract extension, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports. The deal is for four years and $84 million, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Manning appeared to be on the decline heading into last year, but -- thanks in no small part to Odell Beckham -- he turned things around and had his best season since 2011, throwing 30 touchdown passes and posting a 92.1 quarterback rating -- the third best mark of his career. Manning's new deal includes a no-trade clause, and thus it will keep him in New York through the 2019 season.

Manning worked with baseball coaches on his throwing motion this offseason and tried a variety of other new techniques to strengthen his arm, ESPN reports.

This is a version of the "best shape of his life" training camp story that gets attached to dozens of players every summer, but it's usually not a bad thing. Assuming Victor Cruz (knee) makes it all the way back (and he appears to be on pace), Manning will have the best receiving corps of his entire career.

Manning and the Giants may agree to a contract extension before the start of training camp, NJ.com reports.

Even if it doesn't get done within the next few days, the two sides will likely iron something out before Week 1. Manning has just one year remaining on his current deal, and he's coming off one of his better statistical seasons. The Giants offensive line is still a work in progress, but should Victor Cruz return at 100 percent and Beckham pick up where he left off, Manning could very well exceed this year's output in 2015.

After a very erratic season, Manning has rewarded anyone who stuck with him for the fantasy playoffs, posting 641 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions in his last two games. Look for him to stay hot next week in a matchup with a weak Eagles secondary.

Manning's status wasn't really in peril this week, as he was listed as limited following practice both Wednesday and Thursday but wasn't restricted, according to coach Tom Coughlin and the quarterback himself. Meanwhile, Manning will face a Washington defense that doesn't put up much of a fight on a weekly basis, which has continued in four contests since their Week 10 bye (281.8 passing yards per game and 10 touchdown throws surrendered).

Manning (back) was a full participant in Friday's practice and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Washington, the New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano reports.

Manning's back injury is not a significant concern, and he gets a good matchup against a Washington pass defense that is ranked 12th in the league in passing yards allowed but gives up a lot of touchdowns (28). He should be safe to use this week.

Coughlin's comments seem to contradict Manning's eventual listing on the practice participation report, but in any case, his availability for Sunday's game against Washington isn't really in question. Manning will be a sneaky play against a defense that has allowed 281.8 yards per game and 10 passing touchdowns in the last four contests.

Manning (back) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.

Although he was listed as limited, Manning himself didn't feel that way during drills and appears poised to be under center, as usual, Sunday against Washington. With an average of 41 pass attempts over the past five games, he should produce against a defense that has surrendered a ridiculous 11.2 yards per pass attempt and 10 touchdown throws in the last four outings.

Manning was listed on Wednesday's pre-practice injury report with a back injury, Newsfay's Tom Rock reports.

The extent of Manning's setback is uncertain, and it is not clear how much he will be able to participate in Wednesday's practice, but expect an update on his status sometime later Wednesday.

Manning completed 26-of-42 passes for 260 yards, with one touchdown and one interception during Sunday's 36-7 win over the Titans.

Manning continues to rely heavily on rookie wideout Odell Beckham, who caught 11 passes on 15 targets for 130 yards and a touchdown. However, he may have to start spreading the ball around more, as he's failed to throw multiple touchdowns passes in four of the last five games, turning the ball over 11 times in that span. Up next is a Week 15 matchup against a Redskins defense that has allowed the third-most passing touchdowns this season, including four to Manning back in Week 4.

Manning had a tough game in Sunday's 25-24 defeat at Jacksonville, losing a pair of key fumbles that contributed to the loss. He finished with 247 yards passing and one touchdown.

Manning's initial fumble was recovered in the end zone, to give the Jaguars their first touchdown of the game, while also giving them some life at 21-10. Through a series of other miscues in the second half, most notably on a Larry Donnell fumble that was returned for a touchdown, Jacksonville made a big rally. With the Giants needing a field goal in the final minute, Manning lost the ball on a sack, ending the game. The veteran QB looked good earlier in the contest, routinely hooking up with rookie Odell Beckham, while also throwing a nice three-yard touchdown to Preston Parker. It all fell apart for Manning and the Giants in the second half, although it wasn't all his fault. He'll have a juicy matchup in Week 14, facing a suspect Titans' defense.

Manning completed 29-of-40 passes for 339 yards, with three touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Cowboys.

Manning mostly played a good game, even though his lone interception was an ugly one in the red zone, which mimicked his issues from last week. He often looked in the direction of rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham, who finished with 10 catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 12 targets, topping 90 yards for a fourth consecutive game. Beckham's emergence has largely made up for the loss of Victor Cruz (knee), but both Manning and the offensive line have been highly inconsistent this season. Manning gets another favorable matchup in Week 13, with the Giants traveling to Jacksonville.
