F Alonzo Gee signed with the Nuggets on Wednesday, a day after the team waived Jarnell Stokes. He played four scoreless minutes Wednesday night against Phoenix. Gee has played for six teams in his seven seasons, including 39 games for Denver in 2014-15.

F Alonzo Gee was signed to a free agent contract for a second stint with the Nuggets. The 6-6, 225-pound Gee, 29, is a seven-year NBA veteran who has appeared in 404 career games (213 starts) for Washington, San Antonio, Cleveland, Denver, Portland and New Orleans. He owns career averages of 6.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 22.2 minutes per game.

It was been a rough year for the New Orleans Pelicans and the team received more bad news on Tuesday.The Pelicans announced that guard Jrue Holiday and forward Alonzo Gee will miss the remainder of the season, forward Ryan Anderson has a sports hernia that will require additional evaluation and guard Norris Cole is day to day while dealing with a lower back injury.Holiday fractured the right interior orbital wall of his right eye with 56.1 seconds left in Monday night's game against the New York Knicks. He finishes the season with averages of 16.8 points, 6.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 65 games, including 23 starts.Gee ruptured his right quadriceps during the second quarter in the same game against the Knicks. His season ends with averages of 4.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.9 steals in 73 games, including 38 starts.Anderson is going to Philadelphia to see a specialist later this week for a second opinion on his injury. SG Alonzo Gee, normally a small forward, was thrust into the starting lineup due to injuries to three Pelicans guards (Tyreke Evans, Eric Gordon and Bryce Dejean-Jones), and he was the only starter not to score in 23 minutes. He did have to guard Russell Westbrook, but he did not take a shot and had only one rebound.

F Alonzo Gee scored a season-high 12 points to go with six rebounds and three assists on Saturday night.

Gee agreed to a two-year, $2.7 million deal with the Pelicans, the Times-Picayune reports.

Gee provides the Pelicans more small forward depth and brings their total to 11 players under contract. In 54 games last season split between the Nuggets and Blazers, Gee provided 4.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.6 steals in 12 minutes per game. He's unlikely to provide standard league fantasy value this season.

Gee, who is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, took part in 15 of 28 games with the Blazers after his deadline-day trade from the Nuggets, averaging 3.4 points (on 43 percent shooting) and 1.6 rebounds in 10 minutes.

Boasting a specific skill set, namely an emphasis on versatility as a defender, Gee found himself in no-man's land to start the 2014-15 campaign. In a Denver organization unraveling under the leadership of Brian Shaw, Gee garnered uneven playing time, but his minutes grew even more sparse upon reaching Portland. No matter, Gee picked up a pair of regular season starts in a Blazers wing rotation beset by injury, recording 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in 28 minutes per game. Considering his strengths are redundant in Portland, it would surprise if general manager Neil Olshey extends a contract offer to Gee this summer.

Gee (foot) logged three minutes in Game 1 against the Grizzlies and posted one rebound and one assist.

Gee finished the regular season on two solid performances, but didn't start the Playoffs on a good note. Still, he apparently was dealing with an ailing foot, so it's an encouraging sign to see him make it to the court. Expect him to see limited minutes moving forward.

Gee's foot concern came out of nowhere and further hinders a wing rotation beset by injuries across the board. With CJ McCollum (ankle) probable to take the court, the second-year pro and Allen Crabbe are the best bets to get the nod at shooting guard Sunday. If Gee is cleared to play, he would likely be relegated to a deep reserve role.

Gee earned the start Wednesday at Dallas, putting up eight points (4-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and seven rebounds in 25 minutes.

Gee's workload, or lack thereof, has primarily been tied to the health of Nicolas Batum since joining the Blazers at the trade deadline. After the Frenchman was removed from Monday's game due to a right knee contusion, Gee was afforded a large share of minutes on the wing, averaging 9.5 points (on 40 percent shooting) and 6.0 rebounds in 25 minutes over the final two games of the season. As Sunday's playoff opener in Memphis approaches, Gee's presence will be contingent upon the health of both Batum and CJ McCollum (ankle).

Gee started in place of Nicolas Batum (back) on Tuesday, posting 10 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 31 minutes during the defeat to the Warriors.

Earning his first nod as a member of the Blazers, Gee approached the 43 minutes that he collected in eight previous appearances with the team. While his doggedness was much-appreciated against Stephen Curry, coach Terry Stotts' decision was likely swayed by the matchup and a desire to keep the rotation somewhat intact. In a similar vein, Wednesday's opponent boasts significant size, meaning a lineup that may be without Batum and LaMarcus Aldridge (finger) yet again would likely rely upon the likes of Joel Freeland and Meyers Leonard, relegating Gee to towel waving.

Gee will start in Tuesday's game against the Warriors, digital reporter Casey Holdahl reports.

Gee will get the rare start Tuesday as Portland is currently dealing with numerous injuries to their usual starting five. Although, this won't likely last for long as Gee has a momentary bump in value.

Gee (mouth) was active Sunday but played just two minutes, failing to record a single stat.

Gee had an oral procedure and missed Friday's game. Since being traded to the Trail Blazers, he hasn't played much, averaging just 5.4 minutes per game.

Gee had an oral surgical procedure and has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pistons.

He has not seen 10-plus minutes in any of the Blazers' last five games, and remains a relative fantasy non-factor. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Gee logged a DNP-CD Sunday against the Grizzlies.

Gee was available to play, but ultimately did not make his debut Sunday. He isn't injured at the moment, so expect him to make his debut sometime over the next week. His fantasy prospects are dim though, as it's clear he may not see many minutes in the deep Blazer rotation.

Gee is not expected to play Friday against the Jazz, Joe Freeman of The Oregonian reports.

Both Gee and Afflalo, who were acquired from Denver on Thursday, are not expected to have their physicals completed in time, so they'll likely make their debuts Sunday when the Blazers host Memphis.

Gee was traded to the Blazers on Thursday in a deal that also involved Arron Afflalo, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Gee has been a role player for Denver, appearing in 39 games and averaging 4.9 points and 1.8 rebounds in just over 13 minutes per game. Given the fact that Portland sent Thomas Robinson to Denver in the deal, Gee figures to slide into Robinson's former role as a reserve forward who should see minimal minutes.
