Jeffers has been averaging 20.9 points, 9.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds in the D-League, and he's being called up as an emergency measure with the Wolves severely short-handed. He gives them 10 active players and may crack the rotation, but there's no fantasy value to be had here.

Tue Apr 8 201410:03Othyus Jeffers could be called up by Wolves
ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting the Timberwolves are in the process of signing F Othyus Jeffers to a 10-day deal out of the D-League.
With several injuries (Chase Budinger, Kevin Martin, Nikola Pekovic) and Dante Cunninham's (arrest) legal problems, the Wolves are going to need healthy bodies to finish out the season. Add in Kevin Love's back problem, and this move makes sense. Love is expected to play on Tuesday, but don't be surprised to see Jeffers land in Minnesota, and possibly make an impact over the last couple games of the season.

Sat Apr 9 201122:29Jeffers double-doubles off the bench
Othyus Jeffers scored 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting with 11 rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 30 minutes off the bench on Saturday.
One look at his game log will tell you that he can't be trusted in most formats, though we wouldn't be surprised if he showed up again in the box score. That said, pulling the trigger on him unless you're in a really deep format isn't advisable. You can add Yi Jianlian (15 points, nine boards, 21 minutes) to that category, too.
