Thu Jun 19 201410:25Roddy Beaubois signs with LeMans of France
Roddy Beaubois has signed with LeMans of the French League.
The 26-year-old has struggled with injuries over the course of his NBA career and hasn't played a game since the 2012-13 season. Beaubois has the talent to hook on with an NBA team if he can resurrect his career in France, but will finish his NBA era with averages of 7.1 points, 0.7 3-pointers, 1.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 0.7 steals if this is the last we see of him in the U.S.

Mon Mar 24 201409:20Rodrigue Beaubois works out for French team
Free agent guard Rodrigue Beaubois will soon try out for the French team Paris-Levallois.
The oft-injured 26-year-old said that his priority is finding a team willing to give him significant playing time. It's mildly surprising that no NBA team would even give him a 10-day contract, but hopefully he can stay healthy overseas and try his luck again during training camp and the preseason.

Wed Feb 26 201409:47Celtics work out FA guard Roddy Beaubois
The Celtics worked out free agent G Rodrigue Beaubois on Tuesday, according to CSNNW.com.
The 26-year-old combo guard has fully recovered from his latest hand surgery and he had a "strong showing" with the Celtics, but it's unclear whether Boston was impressed enough to give him a 10-day contract.

Sat Feb 15 201409:21Roddy Beaubois ready to work out for teams
Free agent guard Rodrigue Beaubois is fully healthy and will begin working out for NBA teams late next week, according to CSNNW.com.
The Grizzlies and Wizards are among the teams to have expressed interest in Beaubois. He's shown flashes of explosive scoring ability but his career with the Mavericks got off to a rough start thanks to injuries, including three hand surgeries. The 25-year-old is healthy now and should find a niche playing a handful of minutes off a playoff contender's bench.

Wed Jul 10 201317:12Roddy Beaubois unlikely to return to Mavs
Mavs GM Donnie Nelson said Wednesday it's unlikely Roddy Beaubois would return.
"It's probably in his best interest to find a better opportunity out there," Nelson said. This isn't surprising considering the team declined to make him a qualifying offer. We haven't heard much regarding interest in Beaubois around the league.

Tue Jul 9 201313:55Rodrigue Beaubois now unrestricted free agent
Rodrigue Beaubois is an unrestricted free agent after the Mavericks declined to make him a qualifying offer.
We've heard very little about teams interested in signing Beaubois, who has SG skills but a PG body (6'2", 182 lbs) and hasn't been able to stay healthy in his brief NBA career. For what it's worth, Bucks writer Frank Madden notes that Milwaukee "almost dealt for Beaubois" at last year's trade deadline.

Thu Mar 21 201308:11Roddy Beaubois undergoes successful surgery
Roddy Beaubois underwent successful hand surgery on Wednesday and is likely out for the season.
The odds of Beaubois returning are "extremely slim," so we'll consider him out for the season for all intents and purposes. Beaubois will be a free agent in the offseason, and it's hard to see him returning to the Mavs. Dallas will roll with Mike James and Darren Collison at point guard.

Sun Mar 17 201320:55Roddy Beaubois fractures finger vs. Thunder
Updating a previous report, Rodridgue Beaubois is out indefinitely after fracturing his left index finger during Sunday's game.
This is awful news. Roddy played a great game off the bench on Friday, earning rare praise from Rick Carlisle, but injuries have been a plague throughout his brief career. It's doubtful that he'll return this season and it's anyone's guess where he'll sign as a soon-to-be free agent.

Roddy Beaubois exited Sunday's game after injuring his left index finger.
The Mavs are still testing him and we'll pass along an update once the results are announced.

Sat Mar 16 201300:15Beaubois scores 18 points off the bench
Roddy Beaubois got hot down the stretch of the fourth quarter in Monday's game against the Cavs, and finished with 18 points, three rebounds, five assists and a steal in 22 minutes off the bench.
Beaubois hit 6-of-10 shots (including three treys) but this is the first time we've blurbed a game of his since mid-January. We doubt Rick Carlisle is going to forget his entire body of work after one night, and we're not going to either.

Thu Feb 21 201314:29Roddy Beaubois in play for Bucks?
The Bucks are reportedly discussing a possible deal with the Mavs involving Roddy Beaubois and Beno Udrih.
This deal will only be considered if the Bucks can't pull off the Josh Smith trade. They'd consider sending Udrih in exchange for the upside of Beaubois and the defensive presence of Dahntay Jones. Beaubois would be a third guard behind Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis.

Thu Feb 21 201307:40Report: Beaubois, Jones available for picks
The Mavs have made Roddy Beaubois, Brandan Wright and/or Dominique Jones available in a trade for a future pick, according to Ken Berger of CBS Sports.
The two players have been available all season, so this really isn't much of a surprise. if Dallas does make a trade before Thursday's deadline, it will likely be a very minor one.

Wed Feb 20 201322:14Roddy Buckets and DoJo on the block
The Mavericks are looking to trade Dominique Jones or Roddy Beaubois at the deadline.
The Mavericks would probably take a bag of basketballs and some coupons at a local food joint for these two and they've been reportedly on the block for most of the season. Darren Collison has been great lately and there's really no need for a subsequent move for fantasy teams.

Sun Jan 27 201318:19Roddy Beaubois the 'no brainer' backup
Rick Carlisle said that Roddy Beaubois is the "no-brainer" backup point guard.
He's coming off a season-high 19 points against San Antonio on Friday in just 16 minutes. Roddy Buckets still has some work to do, but it's not like Darren Collison is invincible as the starter. Just keep an eye on him for now.

Sun Jan 13 201300:04Roddy Beaubois plays 15 minutes in blowout
Roddy Beaubois soaked up 15 minutes off the bench on Saturday, finishing with two points, four rebounds, four assists and four turnovers.
It would take a few key injuries in the Mavs' backcourt for Roddy to surface with fantasy value, but deep league owners should note that he's still ahead of Mike James in the rotation.

Sun Jan 6 201302:34Buckets returns from middle finger injury
Roddy Beaubois returned from his "ridiculously swollen" middle finger on Saturday and scored six points with two rebounds and four assists in 15 minutes.
He shot 3-of-5 from the field and was aggressive with all five shots coming in the paint. Roddy Buckets has teased us a handful of times in recent years, but he can be left on the waiver wire unless Dallas' backcourt gets bit by the injury bug.

Thu Jan 3 201308:05Roddy Beaubois has nasty finger injury
Roddy Beaubois' left middle finger is "ridiculously swollen and disjointed."
Additionally, the middle joint of Beaubois' finger has "ballooned up and the whole digit shaped like a camel's back." That obviously doesn't sound good, but Beaubois will continue to play through the injury for as long as he can do so.

Fri Dec 28 201220:03Beaubois (illness) active on Friday
Roddy Beaubois (illness) is active for Friday's game against the Nuggets.
Beaubois is playing a minimal role for the Mavs so his absence won't sway fantasy values too much one way or another.
