Clark was officially waived by the Nets on Monday, Rod Boone of Newsday reports.
The news was initially reported last week, so Monday's announcement is essentially a formality. Clark appeared in only 10 games for the Nets after signing on in early-April. His immediate future is now unclear, and he could be headed back overseas, where he spent most of the 2014-15 season

Clark appeared in 10 games for the Nets in 2014-15, posting averages of 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game.
The journeyman, a lottery pick out of Louisville in 2009, has played for six teams in as many years, while also spending stints in the D-League and overseas. He began the season with the Shandong Flaming Bulls in China but returned to the United States after the conclusion of the CBA season. After playing six games with Rio Grande Valley of the D-League, Clark inked a 10-day deal with the Nets and would go on to sign for the rest of the season at the expiration of the contract. Clark played sparingly, with his best performance coming in a blowout loss to the Hawks on Apr. 4, when he scored 11 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt) to go with seven rebounds in 22 minutes. Clark logged just 13 total minutes in the Nets' six playoff contests. While he technically signed a "multi-year deal" with Brooklyn, Clark's contract for next season will be only partially guaranteed. As such, he'll be able to work out with the team over the summer, but he'll need to earn his way onto the final roster in training camp.

Clark has agreed to a training camp deal with the Grizzlies, Yahoo Sports reports.
After the Grizzlies signed Luke Hancock to the same non-guaranteed training camp deal, it's obvious that management may be looking to add some depth at the forward position. Regardless of whether Clark makes the Grizzlies, he'd have to leapfrog several players on the team depth chart in order to be worthy of consideration in fantasy.
Thu Mar 20 201415:34Earl Clark a FA with Knicks deal expired
Earl Clark's contract with the Knicks expired on Thursday.
New York declined to sign him for the rest of the season, and they no longer required him with Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler both healthy and playing well. Clark hasn't been a fantasy asset in Cleveland or New York this season, but he may well get picked up on another 10-day deal before the season ends.

He should get some minutes for the Knicks as they look to solve their perpetual problems at forward. Clark's jumper fell apart with Cleveland and there's little reason to think he'll get it going with the change of scenery.

Thu Feb 27 201411:18Earl Clark could see some minutes Thursday
Earl Clark could see some playing time against the Heat Thursday night.
The newly-signed Clark most likely won't see the court against the Heat, but coach Mike Woodson said he would be available if other players get into foul trouble. Clark is only averaging 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds this season, so his fantasy value is essentially non-existent even if he finds his way onto the court against LeBron and company.

Tue Feb 25 201415:27Report: Knicks pursuing FA Earl Clark
The Knicks are "pursuing" free agent F Earl Clark, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Clark recently cleared waivers after being released by the 76ers and his defensive prowess is exactly what the Knicks are looking for as they fill out their 15-man roster. Deep league owners may want to keep an eye on him but he's averaging 5.2 points and 2.8 rebounds this season and wouldn't get enough playing time off the Knicks bench to make a dent in standard leagues.
