Flynn has signed with Orlandina Basket in Italy, the team's official site reports.

Fri Sep 20 201315:41Jonny Flynn signs to play in China
Jonny Flynn will sign in China to play with Sichuan Blue Whales.
He couldn't cut it in July during NBA Summer League at 24 years old, so it's hard to imagine him making it back to play with the big boys again. Unfortunately, Flynn's claim to fame was being selected one pick before Stephen Curry in the 2009 NBA Draft.

Jonny Flynn will play for the Clippers in Vegas Summer League.
He was with the Pacers in Orlando and didn't look too bad. If he plays well, he could wind up as a third point guard on an NBA team. Pacers' Summer League player Christian Watford will head to Vegas to play with the Mavs.

Fri May 3 201309:50Kahn defends decision to draft Jonny Flynn
GM David Kahn defended his decision to draft Jonny Flynn sixth overall in the 2009 draft.
Flynn, who did not play in the NBA this season despite being just 24 years old, is still trying to get back to the league. Kahn said the team knew Ricky Rubio wouldn't come over in his first year, which may or may not be true, and according to Kahn, "the scouts had Flynn as the No. 1 point guard." Jonathan Givony of Draft Express reports that Rubio had come right away to Minny had the team not drafted Flynn.

Thu Mar 28 201318:55Report: Jonny Flynn could head to Bobcats
The Bobcats are expected to target Jonny Flynn to help fill out their roster before the end of the season, according to Peter Vecsey.
Flynn spent part of this year playing in Australia and reportedly drew interest from the Lakers and Grizzlies at some point this season. Despite being the No. 6 overall pick just five years ago, Flynn is no more than an end-of-the-bench player at this point in the NBA.

Wed Dec 12 201208:04Lakers could look at Jonny Flynn, Mike James
ESPN's Marc Stein reports that the Lakers could consider Jonny Flynn or Mike James in addition to Delonte West.
Flynn is playing in Australia while James is working out and waiting for an opportunity, but someone like Eddie House is an option as well. Stein adds that the Lakers would like to trade for Jose Calderon, but the Raptors want to include Calderon in a bigger trade if possible. Any PG going to the Lakers is going to have to navigate some choppy waters.

Jonny Flynn has signed with the Melbourne Tigers in Australia.
The No. 6 overall pick of the 2009 draft couldn't even find a bench to latch onto. It's not a promising sign for Flynn's NBA future, but he's young enough where he could resurface eventually.

Mon Oct 22 201212:42Pistons waive goodbye to Jonny Flynn
Pistons waived G Jonny Flynn.
Flynn, like Terrence Williams, never really stood a chance of making the final roster. Perhaps David Kahn, who drafted Flynn with a top 10 pick and has always had an affinity for PGs, will kick his tires.

Mon Sep 24 201208:25Flynn, Pistons agree on training camp deal
Jonny Flynn has agreed to a non-guaranteed contract with the Pistons.
Flynn, the No. 6 overall pick of the 2009 draft, couldn't land a guaranteed deal after playing with three teams in his first two seasons. The Pistons have 15 guaranteed contracts, so Flynn will have to make a sizable impression in training camp to stick around. He won't have any fantasy value even if he makes the team.

Unrestricted free agent Jonny Flynn worked out for the Cavs on Monday.
Per the Akron Beacon Journal, there "remains strong interest on both sides." The Hawks recently worked out PG Jonny Flynn and he's scheduled to meet with the Bulls on Friday.

Unrestricted free agent Jonny Flynn has "identified six teams" that he'd like to sign with before next season.
We find it slightly humorous that Flynn thinks he can dictate his own market considering how bad he was last season, but it appears that's exactly what he's doing. Flynn names the Lakers, Trail Blazers, Suns, Raptors, Bulls and Nets as "potential destinations."

Wed Jun 27 201215:00Cavs, FA Jonny Flynn have mutual interest
The Cavaliers and unrestricted FA Jonny Flynn share mutual interest, according to Cavs beat writer Jason Lloyd.
Flynn would give Cleveland an affordable backup PG behind Kyrie Irving, likely competing for minutes with Manny Harris (whose unguaranteed $854k salary seems affordable enough to get picked up).

Tue Apr 17 201205:03Flynn starts for Raymond Felton on Monday
Jonny Flynn drew the start for Monday's game against the Suns, scoring four points on 2-of-5 shooting with two rebounds, six assists, and one steal in 24 minutes.
Nolan Smith scored 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting with three rebounds, five assists, and a three in 33 minutes, winning the position battle at least for tonight. The duo will likely cap each other's value, and Smith is the player to own for now. It has been reported that Raymond Felton could sit out the rest of the year so the youngsters can develop.

Sun Mar 18 201210:52Flynn, Thabeet could join Blazers for Tuesday
The Blazers are hopeful that Jonny Flynn and Hasheem Thabeet will join the team for Tuesday's home game vs. the Bucks.
Both players were acquired in the deal that sent Marcus Camby to Houston. They give Portland extra depth at PG and C, respectively, but don't have fantasy appeal outside of deep leagues.

Thu Mar 15 201215:22Jonny Flynn is now on the Blazers
The Blazers acquired Jonny Flynn as part of the Marcus Camby trade.
Flynn got run out of Minnesota and was a third-stringer in Houston, but there is talent here. Prior to his hip injury, Flynn started 81 games for the Wolves and averaged 13.3 points, 4.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 3-pointers. Coach Nate McMillan clearly isn't on the same page with underperforming Raymond Felton, so Flynn will be someone to watch.
