The Wizards' official site continues to list Blair at 270 pounds, but if the forward is being truthful about the weight loss and committed to keeping it off, it could help him from a conditioning perspective. That said, at 6-foot-7, Blair lacks ideal size in the post, so any drop in weight would likely hinder his ability to battle for rebounds on the low block. In any event, Blair is a few breaks away from cracking the Wizards' rotation, as he averaged just 6.2 minutes across 29 games last season.
