Hudson had averages of 3.6 points (43% FG, 50% 3Pt, 75% FT), 1.6 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.2 steals, and 0.2 blocks in 11 minutes per game during five regular season games with the Clippers in 2014-15.
In seven playoff games, Hudson posted 2.0 points (43% FG, 29% 3Pt, 0% FT), 0.1 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 0.3 steals, and 0.1 blocks in five minutes per game. He turns 31 in August, and is on the payroll for $1.0 million in 2015-16. Regardless of whether Austin Rivers is re-signed, Hudson is unlikely to warrant fantasy consideration unless the Clippers' deep guard rotation is hit with a slew of injuries.
Thu Apr 23 201518:07Hudson has not seen playing time this postseason
Hudson has not seen playing time this postseason.
Chris Paul, Jamal Crawford, and Austin Rivers are all ahead of him for minutes at point guard, and it's unlikely he will play a role going forward.
Sat Apr 11 201518:03Hudson will sign with Clippers on Saturday
Hudson will sign with the Clippers on Saturday, the Orange County Register reports.
Hudson wasn't expected to receive a new contract after his previous 10-day deal expired. However, the Clippers will keep him on for the final week of the season. In three appearances with the team, he's averaged 2.3 points (on 25 percent shooting), two rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 0.7 assists in 11 minutes.
Sat Apr 11 201510:26Hudson's 10-day contract with Clippers has expired and he's not ...
Hudson's 10-day contract with the Clippers has expired and he's not expected to get a second offer, Robert Morales of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Hudson saw 34 minutes on the court during his short stint in Los Angeles but apparently wasn't able to make a good enough impression on coach and general manager Doc Rivers. The 30-year-old will be eligible to sign elsewhere but the regular season is almost over and he'll likely head into next season without a team.
Sun Mar 29 201510:28Hudson will sign 10-day contract with Clippers
Hudson will sign a 10-day contract with the Clippers, Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reports.
Hudston, a big-time scorer in college, is yet to find a permanent home in the NBA. He's spent time with the Celtics, Grizzlies, Wizards and Cavaliers since entering the league in 2008, but he's appeared in only 52 career games. Hudson was previously playing overseas in China. The signing all but guarantees Nate Robinson will not be signed for the rest of the season, and it's likely an indication that Jamal Crawford (calf) is not overly close to returning to the court.
Fri May 23 201418:31Lester Hudson attempting a return to the NBA
After receiving the award for Most Valuable Player of the Chinese Basketball Association, Lester Hudson is looking to return to the NBA, and has scheduled mini-camp workouts with NBA teams.
Hudson averaged 26 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game while leading Xinjiang of China to the championship game. Last year, Hudson played for the Los Angeles Lakers summer league team, and was an invite to the Utah Jazz's training camp. Over the next month Hudson will workout for various NBA teams, and the Pacers have been reported as intrigued suitors. But for now, nothing is imminent.

Tue Feb 25 201409:27Lester Hudson appearing on NBA teams' radars
Lester Hudson has received inquiries from the Knicks, Grizzlies, and Clippers about his availability.
Hudson has been playing with Xinjiang of the Chinese Basketball Association and helped lead the team to the second-best record in the league with averages of 26 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 5.0 assists. Xinjian's regular season ended February 16th, but Hudson won't be available to NBA teams until the CBA's playoffs are over. He won't serve as much more than bench depth for whoever he signs with, however, so fantasy owners can feel free to turn their attention elsewhere.

Sat Nov 9 201310:55Lester Hudson signs in China
Lester Hudson inked a one-year deal with Xinjiang of the Chinese League.
Hudson played in China last year and hasn't seen any regular season NBA action since splitting time between Cleveland and Memphis in the 2011-12 season. Early in the preseason it appeared he had a shot to make the Jazz roster before he was derailed by an ankle injury.

Sat Oct 26 201314:54Lester Hudson gets waived Saturday
Jazz waive G Lester Hudson.
He had some flashes this month with a couple hot scoring quarters, but he simply can't play point guard. The addition of Jamaal Tinsley spelled trouble for the former Cavalier and he'll likely have a tough time making a team out of the gate.

Tue Oct 22 201315:12Corbin still looking at Hudson and Machado
Coach Ty Corbin said he is still evaluating his point guard position.
He said he's still trying to figure out if Lester Hudson or Scott Machado can run the point, but it sounds like John Lucas III is out of the running. Hudson probably has the inside track, but his deficiencies as a passer could be his undoing. Tonight's game vs. the Lakers could be telling. This is hands-off territory in standard leagues for now.

Wed Oct 16 201323:49Lester Hudson gets Corbin's attention
Lester Hudson played 27 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday and had nine points, four boards, one assist, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers.
He played down the stretch for the team in a close game, which is a bit telling since coach Ty Corbin went with most of his starters. Hudson played solid D and brought the ball up some of the time along with Alec Burks and Gordon Hayward. Burks and Hayward will likely continue to do much of the ball handling during the season while Trey Burke (finger) is out, so even if Hudson wins the job, his upside won't be too high. He's still on the radar, though.

Wed Aug 7 201315:18Reports: Lester Hudson works out for Knicks
Lester Hudson was one of several players to work out for the Knicks on Wednesday, according to multiple media reports.
Hudson played in China last season and reportedly farted pretty well. The Knicks are in search of some depth at point guard and have been linked to nearly every veteran FA on the market. Even if he signs, we don't expect Hudson to land the backup PG spot, but he would be an interesting camp watch. ESPN New York's Ian Begley reported the Knicks also worked out Bobby Brown, Sean May and DJ White on Wednesday.

Fri Oct 12 201210:14Lester Hudson signs deal to play in China
Lester Hudson has signed in China.
Hudson's NBA future is in jeopardy after failing to receive much interest on the open market, and he likely made the jump overseas to pursue a larger role.

Tue Sep 18 201213:59Lester Hudson failed to show up for workout
Lester Hudson failed to show up for a workout with the Bobcats, according to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio.
Apparently, this is the reason that Hudson has changed representation. Amico has been providing us update on Hudson's free agency throughout the offseason, but a market for him just hasn't really existed to date. We're assuming there won't be any "Hudson-sanity" this year.

Thu Aug 16 201208:46Report: Warriors interested in Lester Hudson
The Warriors are interested in unrestricted FA Lester Hudson, according to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio.
We're not buying it at all. The Warriors have more than 15 players on the roster, and the club already has three point guards on the roster in Stephen Curry, Jarrett Jack and Charles Jenkins. There is just no place for Hudson, and the Warriors probably don't want to add more salary than they already have this offseason.

Fri Jun 29 201213:16Lester Hudson becomes an unrestricted FA
Lester Hudson will be a free agent after the Grizzlies declined to offer him a $1.1 million qualifying offer.
The Grizzlies are playing a numbers game with the salary cap and couldn't afford to tie up cash in a reserve guard who only appeared in three games for them last season.

Tue Apr 24 201200:55Hudson makes his Grizzlies debut on Monday
Lester Hudson made his Grizzlies debut on Monday against his former Cavs squad.
How about that for ironic? Hudson scored nine points on 3-of-6 shooting (including a three) with one assist in 12 minutes, and it will be interesting to see if he can unseat Josh Selby as the backup PG going into the playoffs. A one-game playoff between the two on Thursday if the Grizzlies are out of it sounds like the best way to settle it if you ask us.

Fri Apr 20 201216:12Lester Hudson officially signs with Grizzlies
Grizzlies signed G Lester Hudson for the remainder of the season.
Hudson will be available to the Grizzlies for the playoffs because he was never cut by the Cavaliers, they just let his 10-day contract expire. Hudson caused quite a stir when he averaged 24.7 ppg over a three-game hot streak at the beginning of April in Cleveland, but the career journeyman will provide guard depth in Memphis. Hudson started his career in Memphis back in 2009-2010.

Thu Apr 19 201223:05Hudsanity to be signed by the Grizzlies
Lester Hudson will be signed by the Grizzlies on Friday according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
It's good to see Hudson make his NBA dreams come true, but it would be surprising to see him on the court much, if at all for the Grizzlies come playoff time.
