DeWayne Wise went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI as the White Sox edged the Tigers 5-4 on Monday.
Wise committed a huge baserunning blunder in the eighth, costing the White Sox an insurance run when he was thrown out at third before Gordon Beckham could touch home plate. Fortunately, it didn't come back to haunt the White Sox. The White Sox are now three games up in the AL Central with 16 left to play, and they're done with the Tigers for the regular season.
