Brown made all four of his field goal attempts, including a 50-yarder Sunday.
He had a minor leg bruise during the preseason, but he's apparently 100 percent healthy now.

Brown bruised his leg while making a tackle during the Giants' previous preseason game against the Jaguars, Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports.
The Giants are bringing in Chris Boswell to handle kicking for the final preseason game Thursday, but even though he and Brown were in competition earlier in training camp, Brown is still expected to maintain his spot atop the depth chart when the season begins Sept. 13 in Dallas.
Sun Aug 16 201518:08Brown only kicker team currently rosters
With the Giants having waived Chris Boswell, Brown is the only kicker the team currently rosters.
In his second season with the Giants, Brown made 24-of-26 field goal attempts in 2014, en route to recording 116 points. The 36-year-old will reprise his kicking role for the team this season, though he'd need to garner added attempts in order to emerge as much more than a streaming option at kicker.

Brown made three of four field-goal attempts and connected on all four extra-point tries in Sunday's 37-27 win over the Rams.
Brown connected on field goals of 29, 37 and 52 yards en route to one of his best games of the season. However, he has scored in double figures just four times all year, making him a lackluster fantasy option for Week 17.

Brown hit all three of his field goal attempts Sunday against the Falcons.
Brown has seen an increased workload over the last three games with the Giants increasing their offensive output. He has gone 7-for-7 over that time span after not attempting a field goal in either of the first two contests. With the Eagles on tap in Week 6, Brown could be in line for work similar to the past three weeks.
Mon Sep 22 201401:07Josh Brown connected on all three of field-goal attempt Sunday
Josh Brown connected on all three of his field-goal attempt Sunday.
He would have had a fourth attempt but for a botched snap. With the Giants offense finding a rhythm, Brown could prove to be a useful kicker yet.
Thu Sep 11 201413:35Brown converted two extra points in Week 1's loss to Lions
Brown converted two extra points in Week 1's loss to the Lions.
Brown, who did not attempt a field goal in the contest, will no doubt have better days from a fantasy perspective, but his prospects in that regard are clearly tied to the Giants' offense perking up in the coming weeks.
Tue Aug 26 201412:50Brown's teammate
Brown's teammate, Brandon McManus, was waived by the Giants on Tuesday, the team's official site reports.
With McManus no longer in the mix, Brown is now the only kicker on the Giants' roster and he'll reprise his role as the team's placekicker on the heels of a 2013 season in which he recorded a modest total of 100 points. For Brown to find himself back on the fantasy radar and merit attention as an in-season pickup, however, the Giants' offense will need to rebound this season.
Tue Mar 11 201412:37Josh Brown expected to do deal with NYG
The Giants are expected to re-sign free agent K Josh Brown Tuesday.
Brown went a shiny 23-of-26 on field goals last season, including one bomb from 52 yards out and a 7-of-8 mark from 40-49 yards away. He was only an unreliable fantasy option because those 26 attempts ranked 26th in the league.

Sat Jan 11 201410:20Giants interested in re-signing K Brown
The Newark Star-Ledger expects the Giants to be interested in re-signing K Josh Brown.
Brown signed a one-year deal with the Giants and had arguably the best season of his career, drilling 23-of-26 field goals and all 31 extra points. He also produced 35 touchbacks on kickoffs. Brown, 35 in April, will likely secure another one-year deal from the G-Men.

Wed Mar 13 201310:48Giants will replace Tynes with Josh Brown
Giants signed K Josh Brown.
The G-Men are moving on from free agent Lawrence Tynes after he missed two field goals from 30-39 yards out over the final four weeks last season. Brown is 65-of-74 from that distance in his career and showed well in a four-game stint with the Bengals last year.

Mon Feb 18 201318:49Bengals more interested in Brown than Nugent?
The Cincinnati Enquirer says "you would have to give the edge" to Josh Brown being re-signed by the Bengals, rather than Mike Nugent.
Brown was signed by the Bengals prior to Week 14 when Nugent went on injured reserve with a calf injury. Brown then went on to make 13-of-14 field goals, including the game-winning 43-yard boot in Week 16 over the Steelers to clinch a playoff spot. Both kickers are free agents.

Mon Jan 7 201314:41Bengals interested in re-signing Josh Brown
The Bengals are believed to be interested in re-signing free agent K Josh Brown.
Brown says he wants to kick for a "contender," and fancies the Bengals fitting that bill with back-to-back playoff appearances. Brown's return would obviously mean Bengals 2012 franchise player Mike Nugent moving on.

Thu Dec 20 201213:53Bengals kicker a game-time decision
Bengals special teams coach Darrin Simmons says his Week 16 kicker will come down to a game-time decision between Josh Brown and Mike Nugent.
Brown has kicked well, so there's no reason to rush Nugent back before his calf is 100 percent. The best bet for fantasy leaguers is to avoid the situation altogether this week.

Thu Dec 6 201211:08Bengals bring on Brown to replace Nugent
Bengals signed K Josh Brown.
Mike Nugent will be inactive Sunday due to a calf injury. Brown won the short-term gig by beating out Neil Rackers and Billy Cundiff at a Tuesday workout. The long-time Seahawks and Rams kicker went 21-of-28 for St. Louis last season.

Sat Oct 27 201213:43Cardinals work out free agent kicker Brown
Cardinals had free agent kicker Josh Brown in for a visit earlier this week.
After going 7-for-7 on field goals in the season's first four games, Arizona kicker Jay Feely has been a bit erratic in the past three weeks. Feely has hit just 4-of-7 in the past three weeks, but he did nail a 61-yard kick in that span. Brown spent the preseason with the Jets after he was released by the Rams following 2011.

Mon Aug 27 201210:25Josh Brown loses kicking battle to Novak
Jets released K Josh Brown.
Nick Folk went 3-for-3 on field goals Sunday night while Brown was 1-for-2, thus ending the competition. Folk wins the right to kick for one of the league's worst offenses. Fantasy owners should be reaching higher.

Sat Aug 25 201212:11Jets coach praises...kickers
Jets STs coach Mike Westhoff calls the kicking competition between Josh Brown and Nick Folk the "most efficient, competitive battle I've ever seen."
Spoken like a true Jets coach. "I've had some great kickers in my career, but no one's had a better camp than these two guys." Kicker could hold value on a Jets team that will settle for plenty of field goals, but neither player is worth a draft pick before the competition is over. Brown has the more accurate leg, and is likely the favorite.

Tue May 1 201217:31Report: Jets add Josh Brown for kicker battle
The Jets have reportedly signed K Josh Brown, formerly of the Rams.
Brown will apparently battle holdover Nick Folk for kicking duties this summer. Although Brown has been slightly more consistent than Folk of the past three years, he hasn't battle the elements on a regular basis since signing with the Rams in 2008.
