Savery had a good spring but didn't have a spot in the Athletics' bullpen, as three lefties -- Sean Doolittle, Fernando Abad and Drew Pomeranz -- slotted ahead of him on the depth chart. Savery, who's gone from pitcher to position player back to pitcher in his career, will likely make an appearance in Oakland before the season is out.
