Red Sox signed RHP Brandon Duckworth to a minor league contract.

Duckworth, 34, posted a 3.32 ERA and 1.32 WHIP over 105 2/3 innings this past year for the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate. The righty will serve as quality organizational depth for the Red Sox next season.
