The 35-year-old right-hander hasn't appeared in the Major Leagues since the 2011 season and posted a 4.75 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 50/28 K/BB ratio over 77 2/3 innings at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season. It's unclear if he'll look to continue his career elsewhere, or if this is the end of the line for him.

However, odds are he'll stick around until either Bartolo Colon or Phil Hughes is ready to return from the disabled list.

He served up a pair of bombs to Chris Heisey, and a third to Jonny Gomes. Gordon was a nice story after beating the Rangers in his Yankees debut last Thursday, but it's hard to envision him coming into any value in AL-only leagues this season.
