Mario West has signed with the Italian team Tezenis Verona.
The swingman separated his shoulder back in April while playing for New Jersey, but he's all healed up and heading overseas. He should do much better there than in the NBA, as he has career averages of just 1.0 ppg, 0.9 rebounds and 0.3 assists.

The high-energy swingman isn't a fantasy asset but he continues to win over coaches and teammates with his hustle. "[West] just plays hard ... and he could be a defensive stopper," said Doc Rivers. "He needs to improve his offense, but the guys love him because of the way he plays."

They're pretty deep at guard, but West was a crowd favorite in Atlanta and is all hustle, all the time. It would not be surprising to see him catch on with an NBA team this season.
