Mon Apr 7 201412:17Bull sign Ronnie Brewer for rest of season
Bulls sign G/F Ronnie Brewer.
Brewer is familiar in Chicago, where he played from 2010-2012, and he was brought in to provide some emergency depth on the wings for the playoffs. He averaged 0.3 in 23 appearances with the Rockets this season and his days as a viable fantasy option are long gone.

Fri Feb 21 201416:16Ronnie Brewer waived by Rockets
Rockets waive G/F Ronnie Brewer.
He's been hurt for much of the season and his career has really spiraled downward this season. Brewer played just 6.9 minutes per game and scored 0.3 per game in 23 games with the Rockets. He may have a tough time catching on with another team.

Fri Jan 10 201423:22Ronnie Brewer stinks in start vs. ATL
Ronnie Brewer played 25 minutes in a start vs. the Hawks on Friday with no points, two rebounds and one assist.
The Rockets miss Chandler Parsons. Omri Casspi also did not score while Francisco Garcia scored two points. Fantasy owners can steer clear of this situation.

Fri Jan 10 201413:01Ronnie Brewer expected to start again
Ronnie Brewer is expected to start at small forward again Friday.
With Chandler Parsons (knee, hamstring, calf) almost certainly out, there's a lot of minutes to be had. But Brewer is just a defensive stopper that will share time with both Omri Casspi and Francisco Garcia. It's a very low-upside fantasy situation.

Thu Jan 9 201400:41Ronnie Brewer doesn't score in start
Ronnie Brewer did not score in his start on Wednesday night.
He stepped in with Chander Parsons (knee) out of the lineup and it was certainly a forgettable night. Brewer has no fantasy value. Meanwhile, Omri Casspi (nine points, fix boards, four assists and no triples) and Francisco Garcia (three points in 22 minutes) were mild disappointments tonight.

Wed Jan 8 201419:52Ronnie Brewer will start vs. Lakers
Ronnie Brewer will start in place of the injured Chandler Parsons (knee) vs. the Lakers on Wednesday.
He's played a total of six minutes in the last six games, so the Rockets aren't likely going to count on Brewer too much. His shooting numbers are pretty ugly at just 25 percent from the field on the season, so there's no reason to pick him up. Expect Francisco Garcia and Omri Casspi to have bigger roles off the bench.

He has a strained calf and this news should not affect the fantasy basketball world. Brewer is a few too many minutes past his prime and can't really score on his own.

Sat Sep 14 201310:23Ronnie Brewer contract: $100k guaranteed
Ronnie Brewer's contract with the Rockets guarantees $100k, according to Mark Deeks on Twitter.
$100k is a nice paycheck by most standards, but this is the NBA. The relatively small amount the Rockets guaranteed to Brewer shows that he is fighting for a spot on the team. Don't count on him to contribute to the steals and FG% categories as in his earlier days with the Jazz.

Tue Aug 27 201309:49Ronnie Brewer not a lock for Rockets' roster
Ronnie Brewer is not a lock to make the Rockets' regular-season roster.
He signed a partially-guaranteed two-year deal which will require him to fight for his job during training camp. "[The Rockets] play my style," Brewer said. "If I . . . play at a high level, defend at a high level and knock down shots when I have the opportunity, I feel like I can make this team."

Mon Aug 19 201318:55Rockets nearing deal with Ronnie Brewer
The Rockets are close to a deal with unrestricted free agent Ronnie Brewer.
The Rockets had a big summer with Dwight Howard coming to town, but they do lack some depth on the wing behind James Harden and Chandler Parsons. Brewer is capable of playing at a fast pace, so it's a nice fit for the team, as well. He's not worth drafting in any league.

Fri Jun 7 201308:39Ronnie Brewer would consider return to OKC
Ronnie Brewer, who was seldom-used after being acquired from the Knicks, would be open to returning to the Thunder next season.
Brewer, an unrestricted free agent, will likely get a look from a handful of teams shopping in the discount bin when free agency opens up. "I'm still very young and still have a lot of basketball left in me so if it's here or somewhere else I'll continue to play basketball," he said. "This is a great organization and (has) great players, great coaches, great fans. So hopefully I can continue to play here."

Thu Feb 28 201300:25Ronnie Brewer scores five in OKC debut
Ronnie Brewer made his debut for the Thunder on Wednesday and had five points, four rebounds, one assist, two steals and a 3-pointer in 12 minutes.
He has no fantasy value, but owners of Kevin Martin have to hope he doesn't eat into his run. Martin had 14 points and two 3-pointers in just 18 minutes tonight, but the game was a blowout, so we're not overly concerned just yet.

Sun Feb 24 201313:19Ronnie Brewer won't debut til Wednesday
Ronnie Brewer will not make his Thunder debut until Wednesday.
He didn't practice on Saturday because he needed to have a physical exam, so Scott Brooks prefers to wait until he's had some time to learn OKC's schemes. Brooks said that Brewer may only have "one or two practices," but he doesn't think it will take long for Brewer to "blend in" with what the Thunder are doing.

Sat Feb 23 201311:59Ronnie Brewer will be active by Wednesday
Coach Scott Brooks says he expects Ronnie Brewer to be active by Wendesday's game against the Hornets.
Brooks said he wants Brewer to practice before he plays, which he should have time to do Monday and Tuesday. Brewer will play a mainly defensive role and backup Thabo Sefolosha and has no fantasy value.
