He will look to catch on in another league, most likely, and will have very limited fantasy value this season.

Solomon Jones will play with Dongguan Snowwolf of the Chinese NBL for the next two or three months.

Jones played 17 games with the Erie BayHawks of the D-League this season and averaged 8.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks. The 29-year-old is hoping to keep in game shape in China over the next few months and hook on with an NBA team's summer league team.

It's a strange move considering how banged up the Hornets' front line is. Perhaps it's a sign that Gustavo Ayon's foot injury isn't serious or that one of the other three injured bigs are nearing a return.

Jones' second 10-day contract expires on Wednesday, but he's been a serviceable reserve for a New Orleans team that is dealing with a litany of injuries in the frontcourt.

Jones has made minor noise in two straight games, and might have some deep league appeal down the road if the Hornets frontcourt stays banged up. Just watch him for now in 16-20 team formats.
