Thu Mar 3 201111:24Vikings don't tender Hank Baskett
The Vikings did not extend a tender to WR Hank Baskett, making him an unrestricted free agent.
Kendra isn't going to be pleased. Baskett, 28, appeared in just six games last season, making one 18-yard catch and a single tackle on special teams.

Sun Oct 24 201019:08Vikings declare inactives
Vikings declared WR Hank Baskett, LB Erin Henderson, third QB Joe Webb, SS Husain Abdullah, DT Fred Evans, RB Albert Young, CB Lito Sheppard, and OG Chris DeGeare inactive for Sunday Night Football.
Tyrell Johnson gets the nod at strong safety. Brett Favre and Percy Harvin are both active, as expected. Behind Adrian Peterson, Toby Gerhart is the only Vikings tailback "up." Chris Cook will be Minnesota's nickel corner.

Tue Sep 21 201021:21Report: Baskett to sign with Vikings
Hank Baskett, released by the Eagles on Tuesday, will reportedly sign with the Vikings.
Baskett broke in with Philly in 2006, so he missed Brad Childress by one year. Still, the Vikes' West Coast system is similar enough to the Eagles'. Baskett will play special teams and fall in line behind Greg Camarillo and Greg Lewis as the No. 5 receiver.

Tue Sep 21 201015:18Eagles release WR Hank Baskett
Eagles released WR Hank Baskett.
Baskett had already fallen behind rookie Riley Cooper for the fourth receiver job, so he had been limited to special teams action. His days as a fantasy factor are long gone.

Tue Aug 24 201011:15Baskett isn't necessarily the top backup
Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said that Hank Baskett isn't necessarily the team's top backup at receiver despite being the one that replaced an injured Jeremy Maclin Friday.
"All of those guys are in competition now," Mornhinweg said. "I wouldn't read too much into that." We give rookie Riley Cooper the edge over Baskett at this time, but it would take multiple injuries for either to become a factor in fantasy.

Mon May 17 201008:57Colts had questions about Baskett's hands
The Colts had questions about Hank Baskett's hands toward the end of the season, according to SI's Peter King.
Perhaps they should have thought of that before he mishandled the pivotal onside kick in the Super Bowl. Now with the Eagles, Baskett is fighting for a roster spot. Kendra's husband has great size 6'4/220 and can get open, but does have trouble coming down with passes -- especially in traffic.
