Sproles ran five times for 27 yards and caught one pass for 10 yards in Sunday's 39-17 win over the Saints.
After a few explosive outings to start the season, Sproles has cooled off with running back DeMarco Murray's return to the Eagles' lineup. The veteran back is still a player worth a bench spot, but his rushing potential is extremely limited with Murray and fellow running back Ryan Mathews both seeing plenty of touches, and the Eagles' passing game is replete with weapons, which means Sproles is likely capped at a handful of receptions per game.

Sproles rushed four times for 17 yards, returned a punt 45 yards, and dropped three targets in Sunday's loss to Washington.
It was an up-and-down afternoon for Sproles, who couldn't seem to make anything in the passing game, dropping a couple of catchable passes. He was efficient on the ground, averaging over four yards per carry, and had another game-shifting punt return. But Sproles' fantasy value is still limited unless he can manage to put more yards together in the passing game, as he did last year when the Eagles' offense relied heavily on screen passes early in the year. For now, his role in the offense is too heavily limited to count on more than a handful of points each week.

Sproles rushed 11 times for 17 yards and a touchdown, caught four passes on six targets for 19 receiving yards and returned a punt 89 yards for a touchdown Sunday against the Jets.
While his yards per carry were hardly impressive, Sproles was able to score on a one-yard run to give him two touchdowns on the day. He got a lot more touches than usual thanks to DeMarco Murray sitting out with a hamstring injury, though Ryan Mathews led the backfield and will likely continue to do so if Murray has to miss any additional time. Sproles has the speed to score on any touch, but the punt return TDs are hard to rely on for fantasy purposes.

Sproles could see an increase in snaps Sunday against the Jets, with LeSean McCoy out with a hamstring injury.
Ryan Mathews will get the start and likely most of the carries out of the backfield, but the opportunities for more touches is there for Sproles. The Jets' run defense is one of the better units in the NFL, though Sproles is still able to make an impact in the passing game.

Sproles caught four passes for 23 yards and rushed for -4 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Cowboys.
After a versatile, productive first week, Sproles was shut down by Dallas's defense. The Eagles' offense had little to no momentum during the entire game, limiting Sproles' ability to generate yardage in the run game or the pass game. With the team's offense sputtering to start the season, his value could continue to drop in coming weeks.

Sproles rushed five times for 50 yards and caught seven passes (on nine targets) for 76 yards in Monday night's loss to the Falcons.
Sproles' patented versatility was on full display Monday night, when he not only led the Eagles in rushing yards, but also ranked second in receiving yards and targets. While fellow running backs DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews were both able to find the end zone, Sproles was highly effective at moving the chains and accumulating yardage in both the rushing and passing game.

Sproles caught two passes for 41 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 39-26 win over the Packers.
Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has made it clear that he sees Sproles' second year in Philadelphia as a chance to showcase the playmaking back's receiving abilities. With plenty of rushing talent in fellow running backs DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews, the majority of Sproles' touches will likely come from lining up out wide. Kelly has used Sproles in the slot fairly frequently in the preseason, and opposing linebackers have struggled to keep him under wraps. He'll be an intriguing potential fantasy option to keep an eye on once the regular season begins and his role becomes more concretely established in the Birds' system.

Sproles ran the ball twice for 10 yards, and caught two passes for 15 yards, in Saturday's 40-17 win over the Ravens.
Sproles was lined up in the slot early in Saturday's game, something the versatile running back didn't see much of last season. It makes sense to match such a quick player against linebackers in the passing game, and it's something Kelly will likely use again as the season goes on to create mismatches. Saturday's win reiterated that Sproles' touches will come in a variety of ways this season.

Sproles drew one target in Sunday's preseason opener against the Colts.
The Eagles' backfield was overhauled in the offseason, but the swap from LeSean McCoy to DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews probably won't have much impact on Sproles' role. While unlikely to approach last season's six rushing touchdowns, Sproles may get a few more targets and receptions in his second year with the Eagles.

Sproles had one carry for five yards and three catches for 23 yards in Sunday's win over the Giants.
Sproles surprisingly racked up six rushing touchdowns in 2014 (he had 11 rushing scores in his first nine seasons), but he disappointed as a receiver, catching just 40 passes and ending a streak of three straight seasons with 70-plus receptions. His work as a pass-catcher was the key to his PPR value, so he won't be nearly as sought-after in 2015 as he was heading into this season, especially since he'll be 32 next year.

Sproles had four carries for 24 yards and six receptions for 43 yards in Saturday's loss to Washington.
Sproles' 10 touches were his most in a game since he had 11 against the Colts all the way back in Week 2. He was held out of the end zone, but his six receptions should make his PPR owners happy. Sproles has a good matchup next week against the Giants' poor run defense, but don't expect him to receive more than a handful of carries.

Sproles had three carries for five yards and a touchdown, adding two receptions for eight yards on two targets, in Sunday's 38-27 loss to the Cowboys.
Sproles scored from one yard out in the third quarter but otherwise had a quiet game. While he's seen a surprising amount of work near the goal line, Sproles isn't consistently getting more than a handful of touches each week.

Sproles had four carries for zero yards and was not targeted as a pass catcher in Sunday's 24-14 loss to Seattle.
It's not surprising that Sproles didn't do anything as a receiver, given that Mark Sanchez completed just 10-of-20 passes for 96 yards. The veteran Sproles is not seeing a lot of volume these days, so he'll be a touchdown-dependent option for most fantasy onwers.

Sproles had one carry for 13 yards and three catches for 19 yards in Thursday's victory over the Cowboys.
The Eagles racked up 464 yards of total offense Thursday, but Sproles barely got involved in the act. He has scored five touchdowns this season, but has averaged just 34 total yards per game over the last four weeks.

Sproles had six carries for 25 yards and a touchdown, and also caught 3-of-4 targets for 14 yards in Sunday's win over the Titans.
Sproles had a four-yard touchdown early in the first quarter, but took a general backseat to LeSean McCoy, who had one of his best games of the season, with 21 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown. Next week, Sproles will face the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.

Sproles had two carries for 21 yards and caught 2-of-6 targets for 23 yards in Sunday's 53-20 loss at Green Bay.
Sproles wasn't much of a factor Sunday, but the entire Eagles' offense struggled, taking a step back from last week's impressive performance against Carolina. Next week, he'll face a struggling Titans' rush defense.

Sproles had an eight-yard touchdown carry, a 65-yard punt return touchdown and a 13-yard reception during Monday's 45-21 win over the Panthers.
Sproles struck early with an eight-yard touchdown off the left end, then housed a punt return later in the first quarter. He otherwise had a quiet game, but while he doesn't get enough touches to provide consist production, he's been a huge part of the Eagles' success this season.

Sproles (knee) had three carries for 17 rushing yards and four catches on five targets for 46 receiving yards Sunday against the Texans.
Sproles did not play last Sunday against the Cardinals due to his knee injury, and while he was able to get back on the field, he finished with fewer carries than Chris Polk, who rushed eight times for 50 yards and a touchdown. LeSean McCoy continues to dominate the carries (23 for 117 yards), so Sproles' fantasy value continues to be dependent on what he can do in the passing game, with Sunday's output the first receiving yards he's posted since Week 4.
Sun Nov 2 201411:27Sproles (knee) active for Sunday's game against Texans
Sproles (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Sproles had seven carries in each of his last two games (Weeks 5 and 6), but curiously did not have a reception in either contest. He'll likely get more looks in the passing game this week, though the Eagles may find it tough to run against Houston's stout run defense.

Sproles (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Sproles is set to return to action this week after missing last week's game with a sprained MCL. He scored a touchdown last time he took the field in Week 6, but averaged just 36.5 total yards per game over the last four contests he appeared in.
