Fri Mar 22 201309:13Report: Von Wafer drawing NBA interest
Von Wafer is reportedly drawing interest from NBA teams now that he's returned from his season in China.
Wafer, now 27, has been unable to stick in the league since originally being a second-round pick of the Lakers in 2005. He averaged 26.4 points in China, but Eddy Curry also averaged a double-double in the CBA, so those numbers come with a grain of salt.

Von Wafer scored 16 points off the bench in Friday's blowout loss, scoring 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting (including three treys) with eight rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes.
Wafer can fill it up at times and the Magic are going to turn into a small, running team that might get blown out a lot. There's not enough to grab onto to recommend an add in 12-team formats, but Wafer will be worth watching to see if he can build off this effort.

Sat Jul 9 201110:01Von Wafer open to playing overseas as FA
Unrestricted free agent Von Wafer said recently that his priority is finding a role where he can play regular minutes.
Wafer is open to the idea of playing overseas, but his first stint in Greece didn't end well as he left before his contract was finished. "If I could do it all over again, I would have never left Greece," Wafer said. "It was really hard, but I gave up on it too early." Wafer is entering his prime at 25 years old but he isn't likely to ever become a reliable fantasy asset.

Wed Jul 6 201110:42Von Wafer would liek to re-sign with Celtics
Free agent Von Wafer would like to re-sign with the Celtics.
We're sure he would, but it's not a guarantee that they want him back. Wafer couldn't carve out a solid role on a bench that included Carlos Arroyo and Troy Murphy, so that should speak volumes about what the team thought of him as a capable backup.
