Garcia will likely play limited minutes off the bench for the Rockets in 2014-15, just like he did last season (19.7 minutes per game). On top of the low minute total, the 32-year-old was only able to play in 55 games a year ago and will consequentially have limited fantasy potential as a result.

Garcia has proved to be a decent role player and is capable of the occasional big game, but there's no reason to think he'll be worth drafting in standard fantasy leagues, regardless of where he lands.

The move was expected and the Rockets have to be happy about Garcia opting out to give them more cap space. It's possible he will return, but the Rockets aren't going to be chomping at the bit to bring him back due to how often he misses games due to injury.
