Marlins recalled RHP Brett Sinkbeil from Triple-A New Orleans. |
The 26-year-old Sinkbeil was drafted in the first round of the 2006 MLB Amateur Draft. He was a disappointment as a starter at the lower stages of the Marlins' farm system and has posted an ugly 5.71 ERA and 1.70 WHIP in 63 innings of relief this season in New Orleans. He will be a mop-up man. |
