Jackson secured one-of-three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 38-31 victory over the Jaguars.

Jackson's day was the polar opposite of his 10-catch, 147-yard Week 4 performance. The Bucs' running game was in full throttle for the majority of the afternoon Sunday, allowing Jameis Winston to remain generally conservative through the air. With a rookie quarterback at the helm, Jackson's offensive output will likely fluctuate week-to-week over the course of the season. He'll next take the field against a beatable Redskins secondary in Week 7 following Tampa's bye.

Jackson received 76 snaps in Week 4, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Jackson's Week 4 usage was through the roof, and he made the most of this time on the field with 10 catches on 15 targets for 147 yards and a touchdown. However, it remains to be seen if the veteran receiver will be able to produce solid numbers week-to-week; Jackson was in on nearly as large a percentage of plays in Week 3, but only totaled two receptions on four targets in that contest.

Jackson secured 10 of his 15 targets for 147 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-23 loss to the Panthers.

The talk at Bucs headquarters after Week 3 was that the offense needed a greater balance in target distribution, and Jackson appeared to be the immediate beneficiary in Week 4. The veteran received double-digit targets for the first time since Week 1, when Mike Evans was inactive. Although game flow certainly played a role in the Bucs going pass-heavy in the fourth quarter, Jameis Winston appeared to look for Jackson early and often Sunday. The Bucs' pass distribution will likely experience week-to-week fluctuations, particulary considering Winston's on-the-job training, but Jackson will undoubtedly be one of the rookie quarterback's primary targets more often than not.

Jackson once again paced the Bucs wideouts in Week 3 with 56 snaps, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Despite the extensive usage, Jackson's targets were in the single digits (4) for the second consecutive week. Mike Evans was the primary recipient of Jameis Winston's attention in Week 3 despite logging five less snaps, a trend that could certainly persist and therefore curtail Jackson's looks in quite a few games this season. The veteran receiver nevertheless remains firmly entrenched in a starting role, and should encounter numerous opportunities against single coverage throughout the season as defenses hone in on Evans.

Jackson secured two of his four targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Texans.

Jackson's secured his 500th career reception on the first catch of the day, and the milestone was well earned; the veteran receiver made a tough 19-yard grab between Raheem Moore and Quentin Demps in which he endured a solid hit from Moore and then outwrestled Demps for the ball on the ground. The concern for Jackson's fantasy owners lies in the precipitous drop in targets he has experienced through the season's first three weeks, with his looks going from a high of 11 in Week 1 to the four chances he received Sunday. Mike Evans' full reintegration into the offense is certainly the biggest culprit in Jackson's reduced involvement, and it's a trend that could very well continue moving forward.

Jackson secured three of his five targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-19 victory over the Saints.

Jackson's score was a thing of beauty, with the 6'5 receiver making a leaping grab in the back of the end zone and managing to just get both feet inbounds. Jackson will clearly serve as one of rookie quarterback Jameis Winston's security blankets, with the size advantage he displayed on the touchdown catch serving as one of the primary assets he brings to the table. The veteran receiver did experience a drop in targets from the 11 he saw in the opener, but this was at least partially influenced by the return of Mike Evans, who did see three looks in the passing game.

Jackson caught just four of 12 targets for 51 yards in Sunday's blowout loss to Tennessee.

It was a disappointing outing for Jackson, especially considering he didn't have to share targets with Mike Evans (hamstring), who was inactive Sunday. In Jackson's defense, rookie Jameis Winston was under constant pressure and struggled in general. Jackson could post better stats next week in New Orleans, as Tampa Bay will likely be forced to air it out.

Jackson caught his only target for a 16-yard gain in Monday's preseason game against the Bengals.

For the 32-year-old Jackson, preseason is just about getting a few reps and making it through without any injuries. He's no longer the top wideout on his team, but there should be plenty of targets to go around for both Jackson and Mike Evans (hamstring).

Jackson could see more time as a slot receiver this season, The Tampa Times reports.

Jackson and fellow 6-5 wideout Mike Evans will provide rookie quarterback Jameis Winston with a towering pair of targets, but new offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter could experiment with Jackson as a slot receiver as well this season. In that scenario, Jackson's blend of size and speed would figure to overwhelm most nickel cornerbacks, creating a unique mismatch for Winston to capitalize on.

Jackson finished 2014 with 70 receptions, 1,002 yards and two touchdowns.

The emergence of rookie wideout Mike Evans and natural regression considerably diminished the veteran wideout's season. Jackson reached the 1,000-yard mark and played in all 16 games for a fourth straight season, but posted his worst numbers since arriving in Tampa. Despite his durability (he has played in at least 15 games in seven of the last eight seasons), the 31-year-old receiver has dealt with minor injuries including a hamstring issue in Week 17 and continues to show signs of aging. A significant dropoff could reasonably be expected next season, and he is clearly the Bucs' No. 2 wideout entering 2015.

Jackson suffered a groin injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Saints and is doubtful to return.

Jackson had one catch for 11 yards, putting him over 1,000 yards for the season, before departing with the injury. Considering what's at stake for the Buccaneers (nothing), and the fact that it would be more advantageous for them to lose and claim the first overall pick in the 2015 draft, it would not be surprising if Jackson is done for the day.

Jackson had three catches on six targets for a team-high 60 yards Sunday against the Packers.

The Bucs' offense struggled in its entirety Sunday, as evidenced by Jackson leading the team with only 60 yards, and they failed to score a touchdown. Jackson is a very boom-or-bust type player, though it's mostly just for yardage, as he has only two touchdowns this season, with the last one coming all the way back in Week 4. He'll look to break through one final time in Week 17 against the Saints, who are allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game this season.

Jackson had six catches on 10 targets for 70 yards Sunday against the Panthers.

Jackson led the Buccaneers in targets, receptions and receiving yards, but rookie Mike Evans once again scored a touchdown while Jackson was left without one. Jackson has now been targeted 27 times in the last two games, and he figures to be used heavily again in Week 16 against the Packers, who he will try to end his 10-game scoreless streak against.

Jackson had 10 catches on 17 targets for 159 yards during Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Lions.

With the Detroit defense focusing on stopping wideout Mike Evans, Jackson posted season-highs in targets, receptions and receiving yards. However, Evans still managed to catch both of quarterback Josh McCown's touchdown passes, capping Jackson's fantasy production to the yardage numbers. Jackson has now reached at least 115 yards in two of the last three games, though it may be tough to extend the streak in Week 15 against the Panthers, who limited the Saints to just 235 receiving yards and one touchdown in Week 14.

Jackson had five catches on nine targets for a team-high 117 yards Sunday against the Bears.

Jackson broke the 100-yard mark for the first time since Week 5, and while it was a solid performance, rookie wideout Mike Evans extended his touchdown streak to four games (he has six TDs in that span). Jackson continues to get a high number of targets, but he just doesn't score enough touchdowns (two on the season) to be considered in the upper-tier of fantasy wideouts, where Evans is making a legitimate case for inclusion.

Jackson had three catches on a season-low four targets for 43 yards Sunday against the Redskins.

After being targeted 25 times in the last two games, Jackson saw a considerable decline in passes at the same time that rookie wideout Mike Evans had the best game of his career, catching seven passes on nine targets for 209 yards and two touchdowns. Evans has been dominant of late, catching 21 passes on 29 targets for 458 yards and five touchdowns in the last three games, leaving Jackson as an afterthought in the offense. Jackson will look to score his first touchdown since Week 4 next Sunday against the Bears, who have allowed 23 passing touchdowns this season, the second-most in the NFL.

Jackson (knee) had eight catches on 13 targets for 75 yards Sunday against the Falcons.

Jackson continues to be heavily targeted, but he hasn't scored a touchdown since Week 4. Since then, Jackson is averaging 11 targets per game, but his looks aren't getting him into the end zone, unlike rookie wideout Mike Evans, who has five touchdowns in his last five games. Jackson's targets and catches make him a decent play in most PPR leagues, but he's going to have to end the touchdown drought to make an impact in most standard formats.

Jackson (shoulder) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Falcons.

Jackson was able to play through the injury and gain 86 yards on 12 targets in Week 9's loss to the Browns, so it's not overly surprising to see the 6-foot-4 veteran suit up once again. He consistently saw double-digits targets when Mike Glennon was the Buccaneers' starting quarterback, but it's unclear whether or not this pattern will continue with Josh McCown at the helm. The matchup is strong, however, as Atlanta has allowed 280.8 passing yards per game through eight contests, which is the third worst total in the league. Jackson found the end zone in Week 3's matchup with the Falcons, but never logged more than 51 receiving yards in any contest started by McCown.

Jackson (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Jackson logged a limited practice Thursday and a full practice Friday, so it generally appears as if he will play against the Falcons. His fantasy value is complicated somewhat by Josh McCown's return to the starting lineup -- previous starter Mike Glennon targeted Jackson very heavily, and it's not clear if McCown will match Glennon's tendency to target Jackson 10-plus times per game.

Jackson (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, the Buccaneers' official site reports.

For much of the season, Jackson has eased into the practice week with a variety of injuries, likely due to his veteran status. Even if the 31-year-old receiver doesn't practice in full Friday, it would be a shock of he doesn't suit up Sunday against the Falcons. An absence would also mark a missed opportunity for owners, as Atlanta's defense has yielded 14.2 YPC and 14 total touchdowns to wideouts this season.
