Braves traded OF Cody Johnson to Yankees for cash considerations.

He's been assigned to Triple-A. Johnson has terrific raw power, as he's averaged over 25 home runs the last three minor league seasons, but his batting average is well under .250 for his career and his strikeout rates are prolific. He's just 22, so perhaps the Yanks think they have time to iron out the former first-round pick's shortcomings.
