Boscan failed to reach the majors last season for the first time since 2009, as he instead spent the year with the Dodger' Double-A Chattanooga affiliate, posting a dismal .495 OPS in 52 games. The spring training invite is a nice gesture, but the 35-year-old journeyman will almost certainly play out the season, and perhaps the rest of his career, as organizational depth in the minors.
