Fitzgerald caught 5-of-7 targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's blowout win at Detroit.
Fitzgerald was quiet in the first half, but made a couple of nice catches on one drive in the third quarter, which was capped off by his two-yard score. He had seen at least eight targets and recorded a minimum of 87 yards in the first four weeks of the season, but Sunday's game flow did not allow for a monster outing. The remarkable thing about Fitzgerald's early-season success is the number of big plays he's making. In fact, he's already matched last season's mark of 11 catches of 20+ yards, so at this point, he has to once again be considered an elite option, especially with Carson Palmer playing so well. In Week 6, Fitzgerald will take on the Steelers at Heinz Field.

Fitzgerald grabbed 7-of-9 targets for 99 yards in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Rams. He also lost a fumble in the second half.
Fitzgerald played well against a tough defense, but his third-quarter fumble was in Rams' territory, and eventually led to a Stedman Bailey touchdown. Despite the miscue, it was another strong game from Fitzgerald, who has caught 30 passes and five touchdowns in four games. Many expected second-year wideout John Brown to supplant the veteran this year as Arizona's top fantasy pass catcher, and while Brown has been solid, Fitzgerald is simply in a league of his own right now. He should be in line for another big performance in Week 5 at Detroit.

Fitzgerald caught 9-of-11 targets for 134 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 47-7 blowout win over San Francisco.
Fitzgerald caught five passes for 90 yards in the first quarter, the most yardage he's ever had in the opening period of a pro game. He didn't cool off from there, though catching both of his touchdown passes in the second half. After a season in which he scored just two touchdowns, Fitzgerald already has five scores through three games in 2015. The return of Carson Palmer, who missed 10 games in 2014 with shoulder and knee injuries, is certainly helping Fitzgerald's production. Expect the potential future Hall of Fame wideout to continue success, although he'll face a tough Rams' defense next week, in what might be more of a struggle for points.

Fitzgerald had eight catches on nine targets for 112 yards and three touchdowns Sunday against the Bears.
Despite the return of Michael Floyd (fingers) from injury, Fitzgerald led the Cardinals in targets, receptions and receiving yards for the second straight game. He has been an excellent fantasy option with Carson Palmer under center, which certainly helps explain his struggles last season when Palmer missed most of the year with a torn ACL. The two continue to show excellent chemistry, and Fitzgerald could surely continue his fine play in a decent Week 3 matchup at home against the 49ers.

Fitzgerald caught six of eight targets for 87 yards in Sunday's 31-19 win over New Orleans.
Fitzgerald appeared to hurt his groin at one point, but came right back into the game. Fitzgerald was quiet early on, as John Brown did most of the damage, including a 10-yard touchdown, but the veteran wideout was great in the second half. While Brown, and to a lesser degree Michael Floyd get most of the attention, Fitzgerald is still a major part of the offense.

Fitzgerald finished the preseason schedule with three catches (on six targets) for 36 yards in three contests.
Owners shouldn't worry about Fitzgerald's scant output, as Carson Palmer was working out the kinks with young wide receivers John Brown and J.J. Nelson in the first-team offense. The impetus was Michael Floyd's dislocated fingers, which have required the entire exhibition season to bring him to the doorstep of returning to practice. While that isn't a certainty for Week 1, Fitzgerald will act as the No. 1 WR in an attempt to bounce back from the worst statistical season of his career (63 receptions for 784 yards and a career-low two touchdowns).

Fitzgerald wasn't targeted in Saturday's preseason defeat to the Chiefs.
Fitzgerald is a known entity in Carson Palmer's mind, so it's no surprise that the quarterback targeted John Brown, Andre Ellington, and J.J. Nelson among his four passes. Expect Fitzgerald's snap count to remain limited throughout the preseason in order to preserve his health for the upcoming campaign.

Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site suggests that Fitzgerald appears to be past the foot issue that recently slowed him in practice.
Fitzgerald was limited at practice both Friday and Saturday due to a sore foot, but Urban relays that on Monday it appeared as though the veteran wideout's foot issue was no longer an impediment to his on-field activity.
Sat Aug 8 201521:18Larry Fitzgerald: (Foot) Again Limited Saturday
Fitzgerald (foot) was a limited participant in Saturday's practice, the Cardinals' official site reports.
Fitzgerald has been limited both Friday and Saturday due to a sore foot, which was the result of someone stepping on his foot. Head coach Bruce Arians is exercising caution to ensure that the discomfort isn't aggravated, but Fitzgerald figures to fit in full reps in the very near future.
Sat Aug 8 201515:01Larry Fitzgerald: (Foot) Limited Friday
Fitzgerald was limited in Friday's practice due to a sore foot, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. As a result, the wide receiver may not practice Saturday, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.
Fitzgerald was merely stepped on, meaning the ailment is unlikely to be a long-term issue. He could quell all concerns by returning to practice without limitations Saturday, but precaution could rule the day with the veteran.
Wed Feb 18 201511:54The Cardinals and Fitzgerald have agreed to restructured deal
The Cardinals and Fitzgerald have agreed to a restructured deal, ESPN.com reports.
Per the report, the agreement -- which GM Steve Keim relays is "essentially a two-year deal" -- is designed to free up a cap space for the Cards this season, while keeping the veteran wideout in the fold. Fitzgerald, who caught 63 passes for 784 yards in 14 games last season, with a career-low two TDs, may not be the elite fantasy factor he once was, but he'll continue to combine with fellow receivers Michael Floyd and John Brown this coming season, with the trio's 2015 prospects seemingly bolstered by positive reports regarding the health of QB Carson Palmer.

Fitzgerald caught three passes for 31 yards against Carolina on Saturday.
Not that it wasn't predictable, but Ryan Lindley was hideous, completing 16-of-28 passes for 82 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, so Fitzgerald's numbers are more impressive than you might guess at a glance. He performed admirably in what wasn't a fair fight. With a prohibitively large 2015 cap hit and age 32 looming in August, the Cardinals might choose to cut ties with Fitzgerald in the offseason, which might be the best case for his fantasy prospects. He still seems to have something to offer, but an injury prone and declining Carson Palmer might not be the most qualified quarterback to help Fitzgerald end his career on a strong note.

Fitzgerald caught three passes for 31 yards in Saturday's playoff loss to the Panthers.
Fitzgerald's production was severely limited over the final weeks of the regular season by the Cardinals' suspect-at-best quarterback play, and that was no different Saturday. The 784 receiving yards he tallied in 2014 were his fewest since his rookie season of 2004, and he may become a cap casualty this offseason. Whether or not he can bounce back will depend on where he plays next season -- and who he has throwing him the ball.

Fitzgerald (knee) hauled in two of four passes for 29 yards during Sunday's loss at San Francisco.
Fitzgerald hasn't recorded more than 34 yards receiving since suffering an MCL sprain to his left knee in Week 11 against the Lions, totaling 17 receptions (on 36 targets) for 126 yards and no touchdowns in four appearances in the interim. Prior to the season finale, coach Bruce Arians estimated that Fitzgerald's knee was 70 percent healthy, which is evidence enough for the subpar production. The Cardinals' revolving door at quarterback certainly hasn't helped, but Fitzgerald may require the offseason to recover fully from the midseason injury. With a wild-card matchup on tap Saturday in Carolina, don't expect a sudden turnaround against a defense that allowed just 10.5 YPC and two touchdowns to wideouts over the final five games of the regular season.
Sun Dec 28 201415:02Larry Fitzgerald: (Knee) Active Sunday
Fitzgerald (knee) is listed as active Sunday at San Francisco, the Cardinals' official site reports.
No matter, Fitzgerald's success, or lack thereof, is dependent upon the right arm of Ryan Lindley, who has yet to toss a touchdown pass among 225 career throws. More palatable options than Fitzgerald surely exist in the majority of formats.

Fitzgerald (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against San Francisco.
Although Fitzgerald's health is not in question, he has a tough matchup and an incomparably bad quarterback situation, no matter whether Ryan Lindley gets benched for Logan Thomas at some point. It's a bleak situation for the entire Arizona offense.
Wed Dec 24 201418:42Larry Fitzgerald: (Knee) Practices Fully Wednesday
Fitzgerald (knee) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Early in the week, coach Bruce Arians said that Fitzgerald's left knee was 70 percent healthy, but such an estimate didn't stop the veteran wideout from taking all practice reps Wednesday. Fitzgerald likely sidestepped the valued "veteran's day off" in order to fit in as much work as possible with Sunday's expected starting quarterback, rookie Logan Thomas, who has completed just one of the first nine passes in his career. The duo's lack of chemistry puts a damper on Fitzgerald's Week 17 potential, even though he's facing a 49ers defense that has surrendered 12 YPC and three touchdowns to wide receivers in the last two games.
Tue Dec 23 201400:27Larry Fitzgerald: (Knee) Currently '70 Percent'
Coach Bruce Arians estimates that Fitzgerald's left knee is currently about 70 percent, the Cardinals' official site reports.
Since suffering an MCL sprain in the knee in Week 11, Fitzgerald was subsequently inactive in back-to-back contests, before playing in the past three games. During the latter outings, he's merely existed as a PPR threat, with 15 catches (on 30 targets) for 97 yards and no touchdowns on the ledger. The subpar showings have also been aided by reserve quarterback play from the likes of Drew Stanton (knee) and Ryan Lindley, with the latter's disastrous Week 16 performance forcing Arians to turn to rookie Logan Thomas for the final game of the season in San Francisco. While his fantasy prospects aren't up to the standard set in 10 previous NFL campaigns, general manager Steve Keim mentioned Monday that Fitzgerald's enormous 2015 cap hit ($23.6 million) is built into their future finances, meaning the wide receiver likely isn't going anywhere once the Cardinals' season comes to a close.

Fitzgerald caught 4-of-11 targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 35-6 loss to the Seahawks.
Fitzgerald had trouble separating from the excellent Seattle defensive backs, and Ryan Lindley struggled badly with his accuracy. While his 11 targets led the team, Fitzgerald is far from a safe option for Week 17, with Arizona facing another defensive-minded division foe in San Francisco. On the bright side, there's perhaps some chance Drew Stanton (knee) will be able to play. As bad as he's looked at times this season, Stanton is easily preferred to Lindley.
Sun Dec 21 201419:05Fitzgerald (knee) listed as active Sunday against Seahawks
Fitzgerald (knee) is listed as active Sunday against the Seahawks, the Cardinals' official site reports.
This season, Fitzgerald has been hamstrung by the Cardinals' quarterback situation, which is trotting out its fourth different signal caller, Ryan Lindley, to date. Though Fitzgerald has caught 11 passes over his last two games while being targeted 19 times, he's combined for just 64 receiving yards in that span. He's a hit-or-miss option this week against a rugged Seattle defense.
