Matt Guerrier's agent, Joe Bick, said that his client is "not willing" to push back the May 8 opt-out in his minor league contract with the Twins.
In other words, he's prepared to test free agency if the Twins don't add him to the major league roster by Thursday. Guerrier has pitched well in the minors, posting a 1.12 ERA and 8/4 K/BB ratio over eight innings between Double-A New Britain and Triple-A Rochester.
