Bullock, 25, was suspended for the first 50 games of 2013 for his second violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program and had a 4.00 ERA in seven appearances with the Braves' High-A affiliate. A former second-round pick, he'll look to continue his career with another organization. |

Major League Baseball has suspended Braves RHP Billy Bullock 50 games following a second violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. |
He tested positive for a "drug of abuse." A former second-round pick, Bullock put up a 6.34 ERA between Double- and Triple-A in 2012 but did strike out 67 over 59 2/3 frames. |
