Gooden re-signed with the Wizards on a one-year deal Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo!Sports reports.
This upcoming year will mark Gooden's third straight season with the Wizards. He's coming off a 2014-15 campaign where he averaged 5.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.0 assist while playing 17 minutes per game. He also shot 40 percent from the field and a solid 39 percent from deep. Look for him to play similar minutes again during the upcoming season, as he'll remain a depth option behind Nene Hilario in the frontcourt.

The 33-year-old showed off an improved shot from the outside this season, and that could help him earn another contract with the Wizards this summer.
