Wed Sep 27 202312:50Noah Davis Starting Against Dodgers On Wednesday
Colorado Rockies rookie right-hander Noah Davis will make his final start of the season on Wednesday against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers. Davis has had a rough go of it in seven appearances (five starts) in 2023, surrendering 26 runs (25 earned) on 36 hits (five home runs) while walking 13 and striking out 22 in 25 2/3 innings of work. In his five starts, the 26-year-old has a 6.97 ERA, giving up 17 runs (16 earned) on 25 hits (four homers) while walking 12 and striking out 18 in 20 2/3 innings. Even though the Dodgers have already locked up the National League West, Davis is not a recommended fantasy streamer against LA at hitter-friendly Coors Field on Wednesday.

Sun Apr 30 202317:12Noah Davis Placed On Injured List
Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Noah Davis (elbow) has been placed on the 15-day injured list on Sunday. This comes a day after Davis was hit around for seven runs against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday. The organization is calling it right elbow inflammation and hasn't said how long Davis is going to be out. The team should give more information on Davis soon. He holds a 6.17 ERA in three starts, so fantasy managers in redraft formats probably don't need to hang onto him.

Sun Apr 16 202319:26Noah Davis Sharp In MLB Debut
Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Noah Davis was recalled to make the start against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. The right-hander was excellent during Sunday's 1-0 loss to Seattle. He threw five scoreless innings with three hits allowed, and five strikeouts. Davis worked up his way up to 95 pitches before exiting the game. Fellow starter German Marquez (forearm) was recently placed on the injured list. That being said, Davis is likely to stick in the rotation until he returns. His next start will likely come against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday.

Sun Apr 16 202313:55Noah Davis Recalled And Will Start On Sunday
Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Noah Davis has been recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque and will make his major league debut on Sunday against the Seattle Mariners. German Marquez was placed on the IL earlier this week so Davis is taking his spot on the rotation for Sunday's series finale in Seattle. The 25-year-old righty put up a 4.26 ERA, 1.66 WHIP, and 6:7 K/BB ratio over 12 2/3 innings in Triple-A. He's not worth streaming at this point.

Thu Apr 13 202313:17Noah Davis Likely To Enter Rockies Rotation
With Colorado Rockies starting pitcher German Marquez (forearm) on the injured list, right-hander Noah Davis is the likeliest candidate to be called up from the minors to join Colorado's starting rotation. In three starts at Triple-A Albuquerque this year, Davis has allowed six earned runs in 12 2/3 innings. Peter Lambert and Karl Kauffman are also options. Marquez said he expects to miss no more than three turns through the rotation, so whoever fills in for him won't have a long stay at the big-league level and therefore isn't worth much of an investment in fantasy leagues. The 25-year-old Davis allowed two earned runs on a homer in his big-league debut in 2022 in an inning of work and won't be a recommended streamer if he joins the rotation.

Thu Feb 23 202312:43Noah Davis To Start Cactus League Opener Saturday
Colorado Rockies right-hander Noah Davis will start the team's Cactus League debut in spring training on Saturday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. In his major-league debut for the Rockies last year, Davis only threw one inning in relief and allowed two earned runs on three hits (one homer) while walking one and striking out two. The 25-year-old has been a starter on the farm and is being built up as one in camp this spring. He wasn't all that great in the minors in 2022, either, posting a 5.41 ERA in 138 innings between Double-A Hartford and Triple-A Albuquerque. Fantasy managers should be avoiding Davis in drafts this spring.
