The Colorado Rockies announced on Friday that they have selected the contract of right-hander Karl Kauffmann from Triple-A Albuquerque and moved right-hander German Marquez (elbow) from the 15-day to the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move. The team also optioned right-hander Riley Pint to Albuquerque after Wednesday's game. Kauffmann will be making his big-league debut in a tough matchup on Friday against the Texas Rangers, so fantasy managers should stay away. The 25-year-old had a 7.78 ERA and 1.78 WHIP in eight starts on the farm as well, and it's unlikely he'll stick in Colorado's rotation for long.
