Tue Dec 9 201411:03Bullington signed one-year deal with Orix Buffaloes
Bullington signed a one-year deal with the Orix Buffaloes, the Japan Times reports.
At age 34, it looks like he'll finish his career in Japan. After three strong seasons in Japan, he had a poor season in 2014 with Hiroshima as he posted a 4.58 ERA and only 5.8 K/9.
Wed Nov 24 201011:13Bullington signs deal with Japanese club
Bryan Bullington has signed a contract with Japan's Hiroshima Carp.
Bullington, a former No. 1 overall draft pick, posted a 6.12 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in 42 2/3 innings this year for the Royals and was designated for assignment earlier this month. He should fare better overseas.

Fri Sep 3 201020:35Bullington moved to the bullpen
Bryan Bullington has been removed from the Royals' starting rotation.
We're hoping this doesn't affect any fantasy owners. Brian Bannister and Luke Hochevar were activated from the disabled list Friday, sending him back to middle relief.

Sun Aug 22 201004:13Royals' Bullington hit hard by White Sox
Bryan Bullington was tagged for six runs and 11 hits in five innings by the White Sox on Saturday.
That's more like it. Bullington shut out the Yankees for eight innings a week ago, but that will probably go down as a fluke.
Wed Aug 18 201009:21Bullington to start Saturday
Bryan Bullington will start against the White Sox on Saturday.
It became official after Brian Bannister was placed on the disabled list Tuesday night. Bullington has a 1.93 ERA over his first two starts this season and earned his first major league win by tossing eight innings of shutout ball against the Yankees on Sunday. It's a nice story, but we wouldn't bet on the former No. 1 pick as a fantasy option.

Sun Aug 15 201017:232002 No. 1 pick Bullington finally wins one
Bryan Bullington tossed eight shutout innings in the Royals' 1-0 win over the Yankees.
The right-hander gave up just two hits, walked one and struck out five. Those that had August 15, 2010 in the Bullington "win" pool, it's time to collect. The former first overall pick has been a colossal bust and is in his fourth organization. He's now pitched 60 innings at the major league level and can finally be called a winner for the first time. Bullington was supposed to only be filling in for Brian Bannister for a couple starts, but this outing, along with a solid start last week, might have earned him some more starts. He may or may not face the White Sox this weekend.
Thu Aug 12 201009:29Bullington could start for Royals on Sunday
Royals manager Ned Yost is considering giving Bryan Bullington another spot start against the Yankees on Sunday.
"If we can give (Bannister) a little longer break," Yost said, "it's not going to hurt anything." Bullington impressed against the Angels on Tuesday, allowing three runs over six innings. That being said, he isn't a recommended fantasy option against the Bombers.

Tue Aug 10 201011:41Bullington to start against Angels on Tuesday
Bryan Bullington will start against the Angels on Tuesday.
It will only be the sixth big-league start of Bullington's seven-year professional career. He has posted a 5.14 ERA and 2.29 WHIP in seven innings out of the Royals' pen this season. Avoid him for fantasy purposes.

Royals optioned RHP Bryan Bullington to Triple-A Omaha.
Bullington spent only nine days in the big leagues this time around and allowed four earned runs in three innings. The right-hander has a 1.74 career WHIP and a 5.57 career ERA in 42 major league innings.
Sun May 16 201018:56Royals summon RHP Bullington from minors
Royals purchased the contract of RHP Bryan Bullington from Triple-A Omaha.
The 29-year-old former top pick went 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA and 31/12 K/BB rate in 42 innings for Omaha. It's unlikely, however, that he will resurrect his disappointing major league career. Bullington is 0-5 with a 5.08 career ERA and 1.56 career WHIP in 13 career big league appearances. He'll provide bullpen depth in KC.
