Fri Apr 1908:10Everson Pereira Launches Two Home Runs On Thursday
New York Yankees outfield prospect Everson Pereira launched two home runs on three hits on Thursday night, which powered Triple-A Scranton to their 12th victory of the season. Pereira is riding a .255/.359/.618 line with six total long balls this season. The 23-year-old got a small taste of the majors in 2023 and should receive another call-up later in the summer. With top prospect Jasson Dominguez injured (elbow) and Spencer Jones still in Double-A, Pereira could be the first name from the Yankee system promoted this season and is worth holding onto in dynasty and keeper leagues.

Thu Sep 21 202319:01Everson Pereira Remains Out Of Thursday’s Lineup
New York Yankees outfielder Everson Pereira (hamstring) remains absent from Thursday's lineup for the series finale versus the Toronto Blue Jays. The 22-year-old hasn't been seen in the lineup since last Thursday's doubleheader against the Boston Red Sox due to a low-grade hamstring strain. Pereira sustained the injury during that series when he slipped on the wet dugout steps at Fenway Park. The No. 3 Yankees prospect is unfortunately losing out on some valuable opportunity in center field in wake of Jasson Dominguez's (elbow) UCL surgery. In the meantime, Estevan Florial patrols center and hits seventh against right-hander Jose Berrios on Thursday.

Tue Sep 19 202316:18Everson Pereira Still Sidelined
New York Yankees rookie outfielder Everson Pereira (hamstring) is set to miss yet another game on Tuesday against the visiting Toronto Blue Jays. In his absence, Oswaldo Cabrera is making another start in left field and will be in the nine-hole against Blue Jays left-hander Yusei Kikuchi. Pereira, one of the team's top prospects, made his MLB debut on Aug. 22 but hasn't played since Sept. 14 because of his hamstring injury, and manager Aaron Boone acknowledged that the injury could send the youngster to the injured list. With just under two weeks left in the 2023 season, Pereira may have played his last game this year. The 22-year-old Venezuelan has also struggled in his first 70 big-league at-bats, going 10-for-70 (.143) with no homers, seven RBI, four steals and six runs scored.

An injured-list stint would probably mean the end of Pereira's 2023 season with just under two weeks left for the Yankees. Tue Aug 22 202312:32Everson Pereira To Make MLB Debut Tuesday
New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that outfield prospect Everson Pereira will make his major-league debut on Tuesday against the Washington Nationals and right-hander Josiah Gray and will be starting in left field. The team's No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, gets the call to the big leagues after hitting a combined .300 (91-for-303) with 18 home runs, 17 doubles, two triples, 64 RBI, 11 stolen bases and 53 runs scored in 81 games with Double-A Somerset and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The 5-foot-11 right-handed hitter is worth a waiver-wire pickup in deep-mixed leagues for his power and speed.
