Sat May 12 201222:52Cruz notches third save in Pirates win
With Joel Hanrahan on paternity leave, Juan Cruz stepped in against the Astros on Saturday and picked up his third save of the season.
While Hanrahan has been relatively solid this year, Cruz has proven to be a capable alternative. And he would become a must-add if Hanrahan is sidelined for an extended period of time. Cruz could also happen into a fantasy-relevant role if he's moved at the trade deadline.

Wed Apr 18 201218:36Juan Cruz earns second save in two days
Juan Cruz pitched a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday for his second save in 18 hours.
Cruz had just three career saves in 408 appearances until Joel Hanrahan came up lame with a hamstring injury. He's up to six scoreless innings for the season now. It was always odd that no team in either league was willing to offer him a major league deal over the winter; maybe it helps that he's currently pitching with a chip on his shoulder.
