The Los Angeles Dodgers outrighted right-hander Tyler Cyr (shoulder) to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday after he cleared waivers. Cyr made two relief appearances for the Dodgers and tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings at the big-league level with two strikeouts before finishing the year on the 60-day injured list with a shoulder impingement. The 30-year-old has pitched for the Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies and Oakland Athletics the last two years at the big-league level, making just 14 relief appearances (15 innings) and allowing four earned runs on 12 hits (two home runs) while walking five and striking out 18.

Pitcher Tyler Cyr and the Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly in agreement on a minor-league deal, per a tweet from The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya on Saturday. The deal includes an invite to major-league spring training. Cyr made 12 appearances in the majors last season, splitting time with the Oakland Athletics and Philadelphia Phillies. He logged a 2.70 ERA and a 4.01 FIP in 13 1/3 innings to go along with 16 strikeouts and five walks allowed. The reliever also logged a hold and a win. Heading into the 2023 season, the right-hander will give the Dodgers some additional bullpen depth.
