Outfielder Zach Reks has agreed to a contract with the Lotte Giants of the Korean KBO league. The deal is worth $310K for the remainder of the 2022 season. Reks was designated for assignment by the Texas Rangers this past weekend. He played in 16 games with the Rangers this year and hit .265/.265/.294. The 28-year-old initially came up through the Los Angeles Dodgers' organization and had some strong years in the minors, including a 28-homer season across Double-A and Triple-A in 2019.
