As expected, Moya will join the Tigers' expanded roster after spending the bulk of the season at Triple-A and posting a .239/.282/.419 slash line. Moya, who hit 20 home runs in 125 games, could see limited playing time at the corner outfield spots given the Tigers' position as non-contenders.

Moya is expected to be called up by the Tigers on Tuesday, MLB.com's Jason Beck reports.

The hulking young outfielder got a brief taste of life with the Tigers at the end of last season, picking up eight at-bats, but a slow 2015 campaign spent mostly with Triple-A Toledo has kept him confined to the minors all year long. He hit 20 homers in 125 games with Toledo this year, but totaled just a .239/.282/.419 line.
