Tue Jun 6 202318:20Owen Miller Not In Tuesday's Lineup
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Owen Miller is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. This appears to be a routine rest day for Miller, which will likely be happening more frequently now. The Brewers have Luis Urias back in the fold and Willy Adames returning soon. That means, Miller is likely going to see his playing time decrease. He's slashing .317/.355/.469 with four homers, 17 RBI this season, so he's done enough to earn himself a spot on the roster. It'll be interesting to see how the Brewers decide to shake out their infield once everyone is healthy. Urias will cover second base, while Abraham Toro draws the start at third base versus righty Kyle Gibson on Tuesday.

Tue May 30 202318:35Owen Miller Returning On Tuesday
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Owen Miller (forearm) is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Miller was pulled from Sunday's contest after getting hit by a pitch in the forearm. It appears the extra rest day on Monday was all Miller needed to get back to full health. He'll cover second base and bat second against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should make sure to get Miller back in their lineups. He's slashing .330/.371/.513 with four home runs and 13 RBI in 32 games this season.

Milwaukee Brewers infielder Owen Miller left Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants early after being hit by a pitch in the fourth inning. He left the game in the sixth frame and was replaced by Andruw Monasterio in the lineup. Miller was 2-for-2 with a pair of RBI and runs scored before leaving the contest. The Brewers should provide an update on his status following the game.

Sat May 27 202315:52Owen Miller Hits Another Home Run, Stays Hot
Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Owen Miller hit a solo home run in the win against the Houston Astros on Wednesday. Miller also hit a two-run home run the day before. Miller has been on fire in May, slashing .358/.371/.514 with four home runs and six doubles. Miller only hit .243 with six home runs in 130 games with the Cleveland Guardians last season, so the production is likely to drop off at some point, but Brewers fans should be happy with him while he remains hot. Fantasy managers should look to add Miller in most league formats while he's wielding a hot bat.

Mon Mar 27 202316:11Owen Miller Makes Opening Day Roster
Milwaukee Brewers infielder Owen Miller has made the Opening Day roster. It's a bit surprising, but Miller did play well this spring. He'll serve in a versatile super-utility role for the Brewers. Miller slashed 243/.301/.351 with six home runs, 51 RBI last season with the Cleveland Guardians. He beat out outfielder Joey Wiemer for a roster spot after he hit .262 with two homers and three steals this spring. Although, it shouldn't be long before we see Wiemer on the big league roster. Miller is going to need to perform right away or these young prospects could be taking his roster spot. Fantasy managers shouldn't bother looking at Miller as an everyday option to begin the season.

Wed Dec 14 202218:13Brewers Acquire Owen Miller From The Guardians
The Milwaukee Brewers acquired infielder Owen Miller from the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday in exchange for a player to be named later or cash. To make room on their 40-man roster, the Brewers designated catcher Mario Feliciano for assignment. Miller played in 130 games for Cleveland in his second major-league season in 2022 and slashed .243/.301/.351 with six home runs, 51 RBI, 53 runs scored and two stolen bases in 472 plate appearances. The 26-year-old can play almost any position on the infield, appearing at first, second and third for the Guardians last season, so he'll give Milwaukee plenty of infield flexibility heading into the 2023 season. Most of his playing time could come at the keystone after the Brewers traded Kolten Wong to Seattle this offseason.

The 25-year-old is now hitting .248/.300/.355 with five home runs, 46 RBI, 48 runs scored and a stolen base in his 391 at-bats for the Guardians. Fri Sep 2 202216:17Owen Miller Not Starting Against Mariners
Cleveland Guardians second baseman Owen Miller is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the Seattle Mariners. Miller has gone 4-for-18 (.222) with six strikeouts in eight games over the last two weeks and has been on the bench in two of the team's last four games. With Miller out of the lineup Friday, Richie Palacios enters as the designated hitter and will bat seventh against Mariners right-hander Luis Castillo. The 25-year-old rookie has hit .237/.299/.289 with no home runs, 10 RBI, six runs scored and one stolen base in his first 97 major league at-bats in 2022 in 45 games played. Fantasy managers should look to avoid the rookie in DFS in a tough matchup on Friday against Castillo.

Tue Jun 7 202220:41Owen Miller Drives In A Pair Tuesday
Cleveland Guardians shortstop Owen Miller drove in two runs on Tuesday in a 1-for-5 effort to help beat the Texas Rangers 6-3. His hit was a two-run single, and he also struck out twice. Miller is having a surprisingly solid season at the plate after a miserable 2021 debut season. He bats in the middle of the order, and over 45 games, he's hitting .270 with four home runs, 26 RBI, 29 runs, and no stolen bases. Fantasy managers that need contributions all-around can look to pick up Miller from the waiver wire.

Sun Apr 24 202211:45Owen Miller Activated From COVID-19 List, Starting Sunday
The Cleveland Guardians activated shortstop Owen Miller from the COVID-19 list on Sunday and optioned left-hander Konnor Pilkington to Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding roster move. Miller, 25, was one of the hottest hitters in the league before he tested positive for COVID-19 last week and missed the next five games. He is back in the starting lineup on Sunday against the New York Yankees and right-hander Gerrit Cole, starting at first base and batting sixth in the order. In his first 33 plate appearances this year, Miller has 14 hits, a league-leading seven doubles, two home runs, seven RBI and nine runs scored while walking four times and striking out only five times. He'll have a tough test against the Yankees ace, though, in his return.
